Cat Backpack Carriers, Pet Bubble Backpack Airline-Approved Ventilate Transparent Space Capsule Backpack for Cat Traveling, Camping and Hiking (Pink)

So I loved the backpack for the first couple weeks. Sir Kitty seems to like it. He’s between 11–11.5lbs and is pretty comfortable in the carrier. I got the carrier to fly with Kitty (my foster child) to get him back to his parents and I’ve been taking him around town on walks to get him used to the carrier. Everyone fawns over him in it and it’s a lot more travel-friendly than traditional pet carriers.HOWEVER. On about the 3rd or 4th trip out, in the Home Depot parking lot, I went to put the carrier on (it had been on my lap in the car) and one of the straps tore clean off! I yelled. Kitty yelled. My roommate yelled. Some other lady in the parking lot yelled. Kitty was upside down, I nearly smashed him into the pavement but I luckily caught hold of the strap and poor Kitty was just upside down for a few seconds before I righted him. Well I did need some things at Home Depot, so I just carried him in and put the carrier in a buggy to do my shopping. No escape or anything, the carrier is still secure, just the strap came clear off.I don’t have time to return and replace the carrier because my flight is coming up. So I’m going to have to do what I can to reinforce all the stitching. I’m probably going to have to wear him on my chest at the airport because I’ll be worried about the rest of it falling apart. I keep a harness and leash on him in it at all times anyway so even if the rest of it falls apart he won’t get away from me.I did a lot of research on these types of carriers before buying this one and if you’re like me, I advise you go with a different brand. The strap breaking clean off (I’ve uploaded pictures) is a HUGE SAFETY HAZARD. I’m just glad Kitty wasn’t hurt.

This is complete junk. The mesh they use is beyond weak, it cannot hold up to cats claws. The first time we had to move our cat in it, he shredded the mesh and pushed his head out, nearly escaping outside, had to hold my coat over the hole until we could get him indoors because that hole was big enough for him to squeeze through.If you love your cat, do not buy this. I regret cheaping out. We previously had a different brand in this style that costs more but it had a much better mesh that held up so much longer.

Super cute and work great as a pet carrier for my new kitten. Everyone loved it and wondered where I purchased it.

I bought this for my adult daughter to take our indoor cat (outdoor cat wanna- be) with her on walks. The backpack arrived quickly and was thoughtfully packed to prevent it from being damaged during shipping. It was easy to unpack and ready to used. My cat took a while to get used to it but now she enjoys going for walks with us. People in the neighborhood get a kick out of seeing us. I highly recommend this backpack for small pets.

I jut love the look of this carrier, however, I had to return the first one due to a crack in the clear plastic face and just recieved a replacement with the same issue. I'm thinking this may be a chronic issue with the product.
