I purchased the light brown, I have dark blonde hair that photo bleaches. This was my very first time dying my own eyebrows, so I was a bit nervous however it was pretty easy. I only left the dye on my brows for 5 min bc the dye started looking dark. I think that was the perfect amount of time for me personally, I probably could have left it on a little longer and it been fine. I also probably could go with the medium brown since I have dark blonde hair. I may try it next time to see which I like better. If you have light blonde hair, I probably wouldn’t do more than three minutes and then wait 10 minutes after you take the dye off to see if you want to go darker.

I bought this product in Target before and LOVED it. I was getting to close to needing a new one, so for convenience I ordered a new one off Amazon. I purchased the same color as I did before, dark brown. Something is very very wrong. At first glance I noticed the color of the powder seemed different than my store bought one, but thought maybe mine was just older? Mixed according to the directions ratio and no matter what I kept getting a ball of gel with the powder not dissolving. The color looked like honey, definitely not the dark brown I was used to. Against better judgement, I still tried to put the gel like substance on my eye brow and it would not stay. I then dug out my old one and compared the color of the powder, and despite the new bottle saying “dark brown,” it definitely WAS NOT. Since I was out of my original developer, I then tried to use my original powder with the new developer, this mixed normal, unlike the new powder. Placed it on my brows and let it sit for the required 10 minutes, even though usually I take it off sooner. It did NOTHING. Something is super off about this product, the color is obviously wrong and the developer doesn’t even work. Also I noticed my old powder has a topper on the bottle with little holes for dispensing, however the new one did not? I’m very confused. I want to return it but I am afraid Amazon will just resell it to someone else and I don’t want someone to go through the same thing! Buy it from a store if you can, because the real version works amazing.

This worked absolutely perfectly!I wasn’t crazy about how chalky the mix was but it worked out great.I bought Medium Brown and I did have to go back a second time. I left it on10 minutes both times! I love it!

This colors decently. The color maybe lasts two weeks. It does not irritate. The medium brown doesn't thoroughly catch every white hair, but the dark brown was too dark for me. The medium brown looks more natural with my lighter hair. I like that it is powder rather than a gel color in a tube because it stays fresh.

I have coarse, dark brown eyebrows. I have been dyeing them for over 10 years to cover the gray hairs. Since I could not find the specific Godfrey kit I had been using, I decided to try this kit since Ardell is a known brand.The medium dark brown color is a nice shade that matches my natural brow shade.This kit is different and harder to use. The dye is a powder you shake out instead of a gel/cream. It is harder to determine the right quantity to use. The developer is a runny liquid instead of a cream, so it is harder to adhere to my brow hairs. Any errant application on the skin will temporarily stain, so I always apply at night so I can do a good exfoliation right away and again the next morning.My result is not as good coverage of the gray hairs.This dye does not last as long, requiring weekly application.

I was hesitant to try at first, but after dying my hair a little darker this worked wonders! There is plenty of product to last me quite some time!I add a second application if I want to be a little bit darker

I’ve been dying my own brows for 5 years, so I know what to expect. First off, this kit requires the user to leave product on for 10-15 minutes, whereas other kits I’ve used take only 3-5 minutes. Not a huge deal. The product is also more like water than a cream that I’m used to.When I applied the product it darkened my dark blonde brows, but not significantly. I rinsed the product off with a wet cloth (water only) per the instructions, and left no product on my skin.However, within a few hours my skin was dyed orange. This photo shows my brows filled in with a dark brown pencil as well. I hope it fades after a shower.Edit: it’s even worse the next day, to the point my 1st grader asked, “Why are your eyebrows so…caramel?” I’ve washed twice with Cetaphil and cleansing oil, twice with Dawn dish detergent, and also used a haircolor stain removing wipe. It’s bad. Immediately placed an order for Godefroy brow tint kit I’ve previously used!

If you’re going to try this get a shade darker than you think you need… Perhaps the shade I got was too light (medium brown) but I really didn’t notice much difference. I put on an extra coat for an additional 5 minutes but my brows really didn’t darken up at all. I was hoping this would save me time putting makeup on to darken my brows, but idk if it’s worth it.
