Very happy with purchase, but it is slightly confusing with no documentation.
This is a great value for the money. There is no documentation, however, so I would not recommend it for an absolute beginner. I found myself referring back to the Amazon page just to get an idea of what each part was. Then you have to read the SN off the part itself to find the spec sheet (I've had no trouble with this approach so far). This is best for someone who understands the basics of Arduino (reading, writing, control), and electronics (finding and using spec sheets) already.

Great value
Very happy with this purchase. The kit really does include some quality components. As stated, there's no documentation included, but it's all readily available with a simple web search. Probably the best starter kit for Arduino for the money that I've seen. Hope it's back in stock again soon!

Nice kit but not ideal for beginners
I am giving this kit 5 stars because the description matches the kit, the selection is nice and the parts appear to be of good quality. This kit provides a lot of value for the price. The Arduino UNO is a clone using the CH34X chipset. Because I was working with the Arduino IDE on a Mac running El Capitan, I had to manually install the CH34X compatible USB drivers for the Arduino to be recognized by my computer. That took time to determine the problem and resolve it. Other Mac users may have some difficulty with the USB drivers when getting started with this Arduino board. Once that was resolved the Arduino board worked well for me.Searching the internet for instructions to use with these specific parts was unnecessarily difficult for a beginner. Nothing was exactly the same hardware and I didn't know enough about how to adjust to the subtle differences. A primer would have been helpful. To save time and frustration, I bought a different starter kit with instructions to get up to speed more quickly.Update: I use this kit frequently with the official Adruino Starter Kit as the Adruino.org kit has its flaws and I have used many pieces from this Frentaly kit to supplement. I am having better luck and am using the Arduino board in this Frentaly kit for the Arduino starter projects rather than using the genuine Arduino board.

Great value
Great value but as stated in other reviews there is no documentation. Not a big deal as it can all be found in the internet. Many items came individually packaged to help protect components.

This kit rocks!
Great kit. Has everything needed to get stated with learning Arduino. Fast shipping, great price. Thanks!

Nice kit, but with caveats.
Be warned, if you are using a MacBook/MacBook Pro you are going to need to find an updated and signed driver in order to see this Uno clone's port in the IDE. Use the following in a search engine to find the driver: "Signed Mac OS Driver for Winchiphead CH340 serial bridge"I would have probably saved some sanity points by going with an authentic Arduino, but the price was terrific on this kit when you take into account all the toys you get. Only real downsides are the breadboard and the 40 pin header I got in place of the 4 10 pin ones. Not a big deal, but be careful when breaking it up into 10 pins.
