The Scorpion's rugged, adaptable design has changed little since its inception at the dawn of interstellar human colonization. This vehicle service has stuck around due to a combination of affordability, simplicity and versatility, which is hard to match for other - supposedly superior - designs. The Scorpion's functional uses are numerous and varied, although UNSC uses are predominantly for direct assault, defensive, and localized anti-armor operations. The new model of the M820 storied Scorpion is half the mass of the old M808, yet it has almost identical Firepower and Armor protection.

Amazing model
This one is definitely not for beginners. These are definitely the smallest parts I've worked with, but the amount of detail it provides is well worth it. The finished product is outstanding and it's certainly a challenging piece. I used two sets of angled tweezers and I didn't have any issues. Completely worth the hours of work and more than worth the price.

Like the Metal Earth models but this one is a bit of a pain. I've made quite a few & this one was one of the more challenging. The instructions are on white paper = newer......but it's not very clear on quite a few of the folds, especially for the turret. I think this is one of the ones they should revise/improve. Just a FWIW - consider carefully before choosing this kit.

My 14-year-old son loves these models and spends hours putting them together. I would much rather have him spending time doing this than playing video games or on his phone. The Metal Earth tool set is very helpful.
