Used this as a back up reel. Surprisingly, the action is very smooth and for the money you can't beat it.

Not as described. Reel is not made in Denmark as stated by Faust Fisherman (seller). Looks to be another cheap Chinese or Korean (?) production reel.Had two sharp edges on the body of the reel. One sharp edge could scratch you, the other sharp edge could cut you. Sent it back.

Fishing reel seems very well made, I wasn't sure what to expect you usually get a feel for something like a specific reel in a sporting good store, however I was pleasantly surprised! It's heavier than expected and reels very smooth. The drag is easily changed at the top for more or less, the reel and spinner seem very smooth with no catch in it. Our family fishes pretty regularly for bass and crappie in farm ponds around the house and I'm excited to get a line in the water with it, as of now it is definitely comparable to the other reels we have! This reel is very nice! I used it to replace an old reel, and it did the trick. Smooth casting and reeling in. This size reel is perfect for smaller rods. I had it on my 7 footer, and had no problem reeling in croakers.
