The hood looks really nice. It suctions pretty well but can be a little noisy on the top setting. For the price, it is a great deal and it does the job

I wanted one of these hoods ever since I saw them. I love the sleek look of them! But I didn’t love the steep price tag. I’m a DIYer and like to do things as least expensive as possible. When we moved into our home the kitchen came with an over the stove microwave. I hated that thing. It was loud and noisey. And for all the sound it made, it sucked at sucking. Our fridge ended up quitting on us so we got a new one... which eventually grew into a much needed facelift to our kitchen. So I was on the hunt for what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. This was actually on my save list for some time and for way less than other brands! It arrived on time! Package came without any dents or dings. The install was easy, all the way up until the last piece of “duct” went up...first we had the problem of our duct being in the way of the top bracket, and the second problem was getting it to not gap at the ceiling...after brainstorming I came up with a solution! Magnets!!! We secured magnets to the wall, and presto our duct is up and looks great!It works perfect! And it isn’t all that loud! I put it in one and it’s fine, and does a great job at sucking up the smell, smoke, and steam! I have a dachshund that is a huge foodie, I made bacon with the fan on, she never even came to the kitchen, because she couldn’t smell the bacon! I’m happy with my purchase!

I bought the product after reading reviews and I can say it's pretty good for the price. It's kinda noise but it's definitely doing its job. It's a good addition to our new renovated kitchen, it adds more class. Looks expensive without breaking your wallet.I would recommend the product.

I did a major kitchen remodel and had to purchase all my appliances ASAP because the kitchen cabinet maker needed the specs. I purchased a Whirlpool vent hood in Sept 2020 at the start of constriction, and it looked similar to this Cosmo vent hood. I bought Whirlpool because I preferred name brand. Well, fast forward to last week when they were installing appliances: the glass from my Whirlpool hood shattered and I was outside the timeframe for refund/replacement. On the fly, I purchased the Cosmo vent hood since the specs on the duct cover were similar to that of the Whirlpool. Let me tell you, I should have just gone with Cosmo to begin with!!! It’s super sleek looking in my new kitchen, but for 1/5 the price! I could not be happier with this purchase. We cooked dinner and I was still able to have a decent conversation with hubby while the vent was on. I was worried I’d have to sacrifice noise due to the affordability, but man I was wrong. Love it!

We purchased this as part of our kitchen remodel. First of all, it is absolutely beautiful- but it is incredibly loud. On low it's fine, but if you use the medium or high settings, forget about having a conversation with someone in the kitchen. The installation process was more difficult than it needed to be. The directions aren't helpful at ALL, and if my boyfriend weren't as handy as he is, it would have been returned. Luckily, he was able to put it up and figure it out. The suction could be better, but it's not bad either. Overall, though, for the cost and what you get it's a great buy. Make sure you purchase the converter kit if you plan on going ductless... FYI though you can get the range hood and the converter kit for the same price through home depot. By time I figured that out I had missed my return window. I was a little mad about it, but really, this was so inexpensive that I just let it go.

Really like it. Might not be the quietest out there but very stylish. It was relatively easy to install.

It looks really nice and seems to work well but just installed it. Time is the test. It was an absolute nightmare to install and our contractor was very patient skilled. Good luck finding someone that will install it properly for you.
