Here is what these expensive screws look like after 6 to 9 months.

Garbage. Open package and they look used. Clearly not "plated" black, but probably some cheap dye, on top of zinc plating. I could have bought zinc bolts at a hardware store and did a better jobs with a sharpie Don't waste your money.Attached photograph. Its blurry a bit, but look at the edges

The screws were delivered within three days as promised. But the head of the screws look used and I can see silver all on the heads of all four screws. And I'm very disappointed in this product. It says (Black Zinc Plated). But they're not. A lot of flaws in the paint. But I guess you get what you paid for.

I don't know what cars these fit, but none of ours. I have a truck, wife has a van and teenager has a small car.

So I way overpaid, you can buy these for like $3 at home depot but these are much better quality and I knew they would look sleek on the car so against better judgement I ordered these. Heres the thing though, not all license plate screws are the same. These fit on my front license plate but not the back. The back is fine thread and these are coarse thread so they didn't work. Three hardware stores later I finally got what I needed but it was frustrating to say the least. That being said these did look great on the front where they actually fit but $8 for two screws is quite the rip off.

The screws are nice as expected. However, I ordered a package of 8 and a package of 4 because I wanted 12. BTW 4 and 8 cost the same on the day I ordered, but there was a limit of 1 package of 8 per household per day. They combined the 2 orders into 1 shipment which inluded an inner plastic envelope labeled "8 screws", but included only 4. The outer, shipping, envelope inluded another 4 loose screws, for a total of only 8 instead of the 12 I purchased. I ordered another package of 8 to get the remaining 4 I needed. (Might as well order 8 because 4 cost the same amount) That last order was promptly delivered and inluded all 8. Makes me sick to think I paid over 22 buck's ([email protected]) for 16 license plate screws.

Where exactly what I expected. The quality seems to be very good. Time will tell. But, they have very little or no ferrous metals in their makeup. I checked them with a magnet and they do not stick. So I suspect they will not rust. If the need ever arises I will not hesitate to purchase these again.

When I purchased my new car last month, the temporary tags were held in place with two sided heavy duty sticky tape, and the vehicle itself did not come with any screws to hold a license plate in place. So, I needed a well reviewed, sturdy set of screws that would arrive quickly, and these fit the bill.They feel very sturdy, and they are doing a bang-up job of holding our new license plate in place on our car. They arrived quickly, and I experienced no issues either in their packaging or in their execution. I expect they will continue to do their job without issue for the years to come.
