Great every day set for professional use.
We use these daily in industrial environments. The universal sizes are great for taps and other square head applications . The pass through feature is great for threaded rod.Surprisingly durable!I’ve used these sets for years. One in the work truck, one set at home and two sets in my SnapOn chests at customers plants.Highly recommend.

Love this set
Love this set. I have had a lot of socket sets in my life. These are great. They are very versatile and can go places a lot of the others can not. They can fit into some of the tightest spots.Pros:Can fit into very tight spaces yet still ratchet so it makes life easier.Comes with a screw driver which is nice for bolts and nuts that are not too tight.Pretty heavy duty.Cons:It has a very limited range. Has both Metric and Standard and is only about 40 or so pieces of sockets, so doesn't go very far up.A little expensive for what it brings, you can get a lot more sockets for your buck with traditional ratchet sets.Has very tiny extension bars. Only comes with one extension per size and they are not very long, so you are not going to get too much leverage with these.Overall I feel if you are buying them for professional uses then they are worth the money as they make your life so much easier. Yet, for the weekend hobbyist or the occasional user, unless you got a lot of money to blow on several ratchet sets, I would suggest to use your money on something with more sizes and more extension bars. Or if you know you are not going to need anything pass or below what these bring then they could also be nice.

Good value, good tool set
Good quality and perfect for my application where deepwell sockets wouldn’t work.

Quality
I use this set daily, it works great. Master plumber, HVAC technician, and general repairman with decades of field experience. I have used every tool imaginable, and I searched out of my way to find this set because I was given a more basic set for Christmas one year. I honestly never really took this style socket as anything more than a novelty, a gimmick. One day I decided to try using it and immediately became a fan! Top quality and they work great! No question I’d buy another if I needed to.

Lifetime Warranty My A***
The Rachet from the set broke with normal wear and tear... Sent up for the "Lifetime Warranty" it has been 15 months and I am still waiting on my replacement.... I will never buy Craftsman again.

But the price is damn fine...
I can see how some other reviewer’s socket broke. These are not to the typical standards as craftsman’s all around 3/8” driver(non pass through, no frills). The smallest diameter on this one is about a mil or 2 shy as the above mentioned all around. The difference would be allowable if they hadn’t placed it practically at the point where the most torque force is applied, trading esthetic appeal and gimmicks for strength and durability. Don’t get me wrong though, this is a great set of drivers. Most of us are not going to be applying that much force typically, and when you do just grab the squares and a cheater. For common place use, they’re great. Easy to switch sizes, great ergonomics, and even though I ripped them earlier, I am a sucker for esthetic. The only thing I’ll add is that if you’re at a coin toss between these “max access” pass through drivers and something else, know that the pass through is part of that gimmick I mentioned above. The diameter per size seems quite small, meaning that the nut would be probably a 2 to 2+ multiple of the bolt. Can’t think of anything really that uses a nut:bolt size ratio like that to make the feature worth while. But the price is damn fine...

Surprisingly high quality standard set for the cost, don’t pass up!
Realized I needed to reup my socket set after 20 years, while replacing my (SUV) shocks and rear leaf springs post accident. The durability was superior working with rusted on bolts and stubborn bushings. The bonus, this set comes with adapters that fit traditional style extensions/sockets meaning my entire existing set was not obsolete by complete compatibility. Ratchet length was shorter than desired, fixed with a standard pvc/steel pipe.
