Money Scholar Classic Sports Bank: The Piggy Bank that Teaches Kids to Save, Invest, Give & Spend Wisely

The idea for these banks is great. The four slot idea is fantastic and the look of this bank is great as well. My son was very excited when it arrived. However, the functionality is terrible. The banks are impossible to open. My 5 year old couldn't open any of these on his own and we had to use a screwdriver to get it open. In doing so, the cover broke. Even worse, it's impossible to use with bills. We just started our kids on an allowance and they receive 1 dollar for each slot. It would probably work great with coins, but barely any bills could fit in here (especially in the baseball/spend bank which is so tiny). You could only probably fit 3-4 bills in the bank, and even then, they are impossible to get out. We actually ripped one bill trying to remove it (and that was me, not my 5 year old son). Although we were excited about this bank, it's going back. My son is sad. :( We also ordered a cupcake version for my daughter which seems to be slightly better as each of the banks are the same, rectangular size. Perhaps we will order another design for my son and see if it works better.

We purchased this for our 5-year old son to teach him about money. The sports balls are great and he loves that they each have a different purpose: Save, Give, Invest & Spend. It has been great for learning about investing and saving, as well as giving at church and other charities. He looks forward to dividing out his allowance each week. We have even committed to 'match' his investing amount when he reaches a certain level. He is very excited about that and it motivates him to put more in his invest slot.

This was a great gift for my 9 years old son who like sports at the same time incourage him when to give, spend and save.

The idea of this product is great. Great to teach life lessons to children. I bought one for my nephew and my BFFs son. I wish theballs were a little bigger and would "lock" in to the stand more securely.

This bank is great! It is such a wonderful way to teach children how to save money. I bought it for my 5 year old son, and although he doesn't quite get the whole concept, it is a great learning tool!

The piggy bank was described well online and met my expectations when we received it. Our Grandson is a sports fanatic, and he liked this gift a lot!
