How much sand does it hold?

Using a 2 lb sand block and there is a lot of space. I'm assuming it could hold about 4-5 lbs of kinetic sand if you're gonna just fill the tray.

Does the tray come with the sand?

No the tray does not come with sand. There are plenty of sand choices here on Amazon.

Must have if you get Kinetic Sand

I highly recommend getting this if you get the kinetic sand (or even Play Doh)It keeps the sand from going all over, yet it’s big enough for 2 to play togetherMy grandson loves playing with the sand, and Dad loves it because the sand doesn’t get everywhere

Good sand holder

This is a great option for our kinetic sand since it can be so messy. We were using the box it came in but then they started to break so we like this option better.

Quality not quite what I expected for the price.

This product was not as sturdy as I expected it to be, but it seems to be holding up well. My 6 year old grandchild plays with it almost every day.

$27.99 FOR 1 FLIMSY TRAY!!! MISLEADING

I should've read the reviews before I purchased this. My first order was returned to sender, so I ordered a replacement only to receive 1 TRAY! The picture shows 3 trays and no where in the description does it state that there's only 1 tray. Almost $30.00 for 1 flimsy tray! I am not keeping this. As someone said in the reviews, "you'd be better off purchasing a paint tray", and I totally agree.
