I got two sand proof blankets. This one was thicker, and worked well a the beach in New Hampshire where the sand is a bit gritty and not very soft. It stayed cool in the sun. Putting sand in the pockets helped keep it in place.The mesh storage bag is nice but I was disappointed I couldn't use it. It's too small. The blanket would need to be folded exactly as it came in the original package to be able to fit in the bag. Too hard to do. I'm using a gallon Ziploc freezer bag instead.

My original review was correct, it can easily fit 3-4 people & a cooler, the colors are vibrant, the material repels water & sand .. HOWEVER .. after 2 uses the stitches are coming undone around the entire product. I could only post a few pics, but around the entire edge (roughly 22 feet) the stitching has loosened or failed entirely. Keep in mind this is after only 2 uses at a beach. It was unfolded, sat on, then shook off & folded. It was abused or used as a flag in high winds, it was literally sat on then folded. The price is fair, but the product is assembled using extremely inexpensive thread for the stitching.2nd Update: I received a replacement beach mat from Hiwoss, and it appears to be holding up better. We've used it twice now and there are no threads coming out like the original. Perhaps it was a defective product, but this new seems just fine.

Beautiful, bright colors as shown in the picture. But the material is like that of an umbrella or plastic kite. Heavier in weight than I thought, not making it ideal for packing when flying. I wanted this to take on trips to beach destinations. If you want something to throw in the car for picnics or driving destinations, this would be great.

Decent towel. I bought light pink color, unfortunately you can still see the black pattern on the bottom so I would choose a darker design (hoping that the bottom black pattern would be less noticeable). The size was what I expected and it was pretty lightweight compared to other beach towels, will consider getting other patterns next time!

The little pockets at the corners to fill with sand are a great idea. I never had to worry about my blanket flying away, even on the extra windy days. Water also beads up and rolls off very easily, and sand shakes right off.My only not-really-a-complaint is that it has the texture of a shower curtain, so it's not exact snuggly. To be fair, I bought it to keep sand off of me when sitting on the beach, so the "blanket" or "towel" aspect did not matter as much as keeping the sand and water away.Overall, I would and have recommended this to friends and family. 10/10, would buy again.

This product is amazing! Spent a weekend on sandy beaches camping this mat shakes off easy doesn't collect sand and drys so fast!

For future use on the beach, got it today, unfold, it was like expected, easy to put it dowm in the bag

Looked like a good product but had to return it right away as did not received the color I ordered. Was supposed to get a teal and blue blanket but instead got a mix of pink, orange and some light blue. Not too impressed
