The Nicene Creed: Illustrated and Instructed for Kids Hardcover – July 1, 2016

As a pastor with young children, I have started reading it with my six year old son. We are taking it slowly, but the explanations are good, while still reassuring the child that even though we don't understand God fully, we are able to express what he has told us about himself.

A stunning and articulate book bringing ancient words into the hands of children. As with all great children's books, the artwork in this book tells the story as much the words. Rather than "dumb down" the Nicene Creed, Fitzgerald enriches and expands it's message in simple and clear language. This book is great for children and adults, Christian or of other faiths to understand this basic doctrine.

Love your book!! Fr. Joey Fitzgerald hits it out of the ballpark with this spectacularly illustrated (by him) text, explaining the Christian Nicene Creed, to children (and adults). I'd have paid twice the mere dollars for the Art alone. Our GrandLoves will be receiving copies of this book throughout the year to come.

A terrific book, slightly marred for me because of a glaring misspelling on page 14. 41/2 stars because of the publishers' inattention; the book itself is a full 5.

I bought this to give to a lady in our Parish who teaches Sunday school. It's sometimes difficult to make theological concepts relevant to young minds, (and few older ones as well!) and this helps a lot. Very appropriate teaching tool.

I'm all for explaining the basic doctrines of the Christian faith to children. This book explains the Nicene Creed in language that children can understand, AND and it is beautifully illustrated. . . Highly recommended for adults and children alike!
