I have zero concerns about its ability to withstand the most rigorous backpacking adventures or being an emergency source of water when SHTF.Definitely invest in some water treatment tablets as the silver infused ceramic filtration element does not kill viruses. Additionally, the filter is field serviceable which is another reason this portable filter should be at or near the top of your list.Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Yes.

This is literally the Best water filtering unit out there. Forget Berkey! This is the camping model so you will need to pump it but it is Very well worth it to get clean water free of chemicals and metals.

I initially bought this product for my son and was so impressed by it that I bought one for myself as well! It pumps water through the filter very fast, made from high-quality materials, compact, and cleans the water as advertised. However, as stated in the description, it does not remove the solids in water like a Zero water pitcher does, so don’t expect the STD level to be zero after the water is cleaned.

Best small water filter you can buy.A little heavier than typical plastic backpacking models , but made of metal and extremely rugged.

Very easy to use and when done very easy to clean.Have used it on multiple long day hikes and several weekend camping trips.I have an older all hard plastic Katadyn water filter and am always concerned about breaking the tube attachments with this model Pocket filter no concerns at all.I would purchase again if needed and would recommend to friends.

Bought this for my backpacking trips and works as expected. On the heavy side, but does the job better than most filters and the construction of this filter is made to last, that makes it more dependable. Most are plastic builds and can snap and break.

I've used this product to fill up water bottles and it worked as well as they said I've already spoken to others and recommended to others if they want a good water filter filtration system that this would be the best bang for the buck no problems at this time to speak of
