Q: I see different answers posted, but no direct response from the seller, nor anything in the product description .. is this 1st, 2nd or 3rd cutting???

Compared to other brand’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd cuts it’s my opinion it’s mostly a mix of 2nd and 3rd cuts. My elder bun loves 3rd cut the most because it’s the softest, but I know for their teeth and health (especially for my younger buns) they need a crunchier 2nd cut. I don’t think I’ve ever seen 1st cut but that’s just been my experience. Hope this helps answer your question! Source: I’ve ordered this hay several times and am on auto delivery now. I’ve searched a long time for good quality, consistent hay and this one is the best I’ve found that my buns love.
