Dr. Seuss: Green Eggs and Ham and Other Stories VHS

This is the same cartoon from when I grew up in the 80's, with that 70's music and Chuck Jones Looney Tunes style we all remember and love... sigh. The only thing this nit-picky mother of an almost 4 year old preschooler can negatively say about this is that the word "stupid" is said. Of course, my son picked up on it immediately and although we had previously mentioned we didn't like that word being said, how can we tell him not to say it when we let him watch this cartoon? Other than that, I recognize it's a small negative detail in an otherwise wonderful (nostalgic) story, especially the message the Sneetches contains.

My son loves Dr. Seuss books and had asked to watch the movie so we got this for him for Christmas. It’s a great buy since the videos are fairly short. There are 3 different stories adapted from the books. He loves it.

Love these cartoons from my childhood! I'm glad I found them on DVD! They're a lot of fun - we love the musical Sneetches and Green Eggs and Ham. The Zax cartoon is still...weird...and not as fun. But the other two more than make up for it!

This movie is great! I am always on the lookout for a children/s dvd that is good, but is not a full length "Disney" feature. When the kids need entertainment, but don't have two hours to kill for instance. This movie fills the bill perfectly. Fun, different, keeps them entertained and they can watch it over and over if they do have 2 hours to kill.

Excellent movie! Presented just like it was on TV with "The Sneetches" first, "The Zax" second and "Green Eggs and Ham" last. I have all the Dr. Seuss blu-rays and this is one of my all-time favorites. I really love "The Sneetches" and what it teaches. Great movie; and, boy, does the movie look good on blu-ray!

The best cartoon ever. My son love it. Dr. Seuss is great!!!! We have a lot of books from him and now we are so happy to have a DVD :)

Just as I remembered in book form when I was a kid, and now my kids can enjoy the same memories for Dr Seuss on screen

It is a great story from Dr Seuss. Whether your kids like it or not is a matter of personal preference.The price is good, but the video is pretty short too.
