Capable projector, comes with Kodi pre-installed, speaker is great for it's size, images are good, read on...
The media could not be loaded. This is a fun little projector! The video covers pretty much everything, but here's the written version if you don't want to watch. Link to all the accessories I recommend are listed below. The projector is best suited for backyard, camping, kid's room type environments. It needs to be kind of dark, but not blackout dark. The screen brightness of 120 lumens does a surprisingly good job of projecting an image that's easy to see. This is NOT for use as a presentation projector in a well lit conference room, but it's great for low light viewing. I would recommend keeping the image at around 40-50" for best results. The projector comes with Android 4.4 loaded and while this is a bit outdated version it does the trick just fine. You may find you need to sideload apps that don't show up in the app store. apkmirror.com is a great place to find safe apps, just look for an older version of whatever you want, download it, put it on a thumb drive, use the OTG cable (micro USB to full size female USB port) provided with the projector to install it on the projector. I had to do this for netflix. This comes with an app called Kodi pre-loaded, this is AWESOME! Kodi is the best, but it's not very user friendly. Google it and learn it, it's a VERY powerful media center app that works with add-ons. I used another app available in the play store called Easy Kodi setup backup/restore to get it setup with the add-ons. You'll definitely want the add-on called Exodus. Exodus is like a search engine that will allow you to find and play just every movie or TV show ever made - for free. The easy Kodi setup app will install this and a few other add-ons (live TV, sports, etc). Learn to use Kodi, it's worth it!This played every video format I threw at it - .avi, .mov, .mkv,. mp4, etc. The only problem with the native player app is that it won't play mvk files with aac audio. I'd recommend BS Player in the app store, it'll play anything and it's free. Playing from the thumb drive works very well and it handled large 4K video files just fine. Just remember the native resolution is only 854 x 480 so you're wasting drive space with 1080 or 4K video files. The remote that comes with the projector is a bluetooth remote and this is another huge plus. Unlike an IR remote you don't have to point it at the projector to get it to work. It comes pre-paired you just need to insert the batteries, press any button once to connect it and you're good to go. I love the remote. There's a mouse button on it that will bring up a cursor, press up/down/left/right to move it, center button to select. One thing I do recommend you use is a keyboard/mouse combo, you'll want this for entering your YouTube/Netflix/etc usernames and passwords - MUCH easier than using the remote (saves a ton of time). You can use either a Bluetooth setup or a 2.4gHz setup. The 2.4gHz setup will require you to plug in a receiver via the OTG cable. It's just plug and play though, easy. The focus dial is SENSITIVE, don't need to turn it much to focus, this is also how you'll adjust the keystone correction (corrects the skewed image that's a result of projecting at an upward angle). There's not a lot of keystone correction but it definitely helps and is needed. The battery last 90 minutes, just as claimed. If you're fast and load a 90 minute movie and start watching right away you might make it through it. If you'll be using this outside, camping, etc you'll want an external battery. The power in is 12v and there's plenty of external batteries this will power/charge it, I'll link to a couple I own below. The built in speaker is actually pretty loud considering the size. If you're sitting close to the projector it will suffice. I paired it with a Bose soundlink mini bluetooth speaker and love this setup, more like theater sound. You can also pair it with a bluetooth headset, but due to the limitations of Bluetooth you can only pair one audio device at a time, so no group watching with everyone on their own headsets. There is no latency either - i.e. no audio/video sync issues. There is also a 3.5mm headphone type jack to plug in a speaker or headphones if you don't want to use bluetooth. The only issues I had was the protective pouch shown in the description picture wasn't included and the tripod sucks. Not a huge deal for me, I used a small tablet case I already had to pack everything away, this works great. Can fit the projector, charger, a 3.5mm audio cable, charging cable to use with an external battery and tripod in it. I use a Platypod tripod I already had and this works really well, but the platypod is expensive for this application. I would just pick up a better tabletop tripod. The one included does the job, it's just hard to position correctly and it drifts a bit.I think that covers it, if you have any questions please ask in the comments below! Here's the list of accessories I'd recommend for ya:External battery 1: Laptop Power Bank 50000mAh TSSUCCESS Portable Charger with DC Output 5-20V & Smart Dual USB Port for fast charging digital devices with 5V/9V/12V External Battery Power Pack with USB C Quick Charger External battery 2: 3.3lb 100W(Peak 200W) Portable Solar Generator (UPS, Power Inverter) - 40800mAh 150Wh Battery - Solar/AC/Car Charging Cable - 2 AC & 3 DC 12V & 2 USB Ports 2 USB ports AND two 110v AC outlets. This battery is good if you want to charge the projector and a 12v speaker at the same time.Bose Soundlink Mini speaker: BOSE SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker - this little guy rocks!Manfrotto mini tripod: Manfrotto MTPIXI-B PIXI Mini Tripod, Black WAY better than the tripod included and MUCH cheaper than the Platypod I mentioned above.Tablet Case to protect everything: LUVVITT MASTER Sleeve Case Pouch for iPad Mini 7.9 inch and Galaxy Note 8.0 and other tablets up to 8 inches - Black it's $10 and well worth it.Portable Screen: everyone gain 40'' 16:9 Projector HD Screen Portable Folding Table Screen (40 inch 16:9) - this is a MUST have.

Battery issue
This thing does not hold a charge and has to be plugged in for 5-10 minutes before each use! Not ideal when giving hi level million dollar executive presentations that don’t always have projection ability on site!

Good picture quality. Horrible android system.
Picture quality is very good. But it does not support the Netflix app. Google Play Movies app won't actually play any movies.. It just plays the sound with a black screen.

Impressed, Despite Some Issues
I received this on time and overall, it works very well. I have tested the mirror-cast and the HDMI input and they have very impressive performances. So far the battery life has proven to last for quite a while, although I have not used it yet from full battery to empty. The speaker has worked very well for such a small package, however there is some distorted noise upon initial boot up.Now for the cons...The unit I received arrived with some slight damage. The top of the unit was scratched, not anything that would change functionality (maybe, and I will explain). The projection is tilted slightly to the left, which I am unsure if was caused by the aforementioned damage or during shipping. This is easily corrected by adjusting the stand and does not affect the overall performance. The only other complaint I have, is I wish it came with a more detailed manual, or at least a way to get one.I have to admit that, despite the couple of issues that are present, I am very impressed with this item, especially given the size compared to other projectors.I purchased this projector on a lightening deal at just the right time. Given the price I paid, I cannot fault it more than one star, despite the minor flaws that I can overlook. Had I paid full price, I might be a little harsher in my review, and I would probably seek a return on the unit. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if they could find it with a price cut again.

Broken miracast, copryright nonsense.
This thing, like all the Chinese Pico projectors I can see on amazon does not have TRUE miracast or airplay. Meaning you must have the device on a wifi network in order to use miracast. It is absolutely useless if you want to use it in a stand alone miracast situation. I don't know if this is some kind of restriction that has been put on the devices by copyright owners but I don't see the point of having miracast but forcing me to be tethered to a WIFI network. It makes the thing useless for camping and basically useless to owners of the samsung s6 and other phones that don't have an hdmi out. It seems to be some weird copyright thing that instead of protecting copyright holders, just forces people who want to watch content they paid for from their phone to this device to to go pirate. Anyway, things useless to me for what I wanted it for(miracasting offline amazon videos from my s6), and I cancelled my order when I found out
