LeSportsac Classic Kevyn Cosmetic

I love everything LeSportsac...everything....and I own a ton of their stuff. This case specifically though is beyond awesome. It is compact in the most perfect way. It is exactly long enough to fit makeup brushes without smashing the brush and deep enough to hold all the makeup I require daily but isn't so giant that it won't fit in my purse. It has the additional flat zippered compartment on the side that I use for tweezers, bandaids, q tips, etc. Basically flat-ish things that get messed up when they are mixed in with my makeup. And the best part, if something spills inside I can throw it in the washer and it's all clean again! I actually have 2 of these cases one in this design that I use every day, and one I use for travel that matches the entire line of LeSportsac all the way up to the large Weekender Bag.My mom had a LeSportsac purse when I was a little girl in the late '70's and I remember I liked it so much. I still love them! That's a long time! They are clearly doing something right! I use their bags for everything! I even use their backpacks as diaper bags.

I love this case, it's perfect for what I need. It's well-made and the "Heart" pattern is very pretty. I noticed that someone here complained that the side compartment opens all the way along the sides of the narrower part of the case but I think that's because you're supposed to keep items in the two mesh zipped pockets. I found these perfect for eye primer, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, mascara and an eye shadow brush. I don't care that much makeup with me -- just one of these in the larger section: pressed foundation, eye shadow, blush, finishing powder and a larger brush for these items. If you want a case that has room for more than that, then you should probably look for a larger one.

I have hand sewn from nylon little bags that I put medical carry kit in, makeup, and various different things, one tiny one for my period. THis is so perfect I bought THREE bc there is one compartment that I can put band-aids, gloves, wipes, alcohol wipes, mini scissors, allergy medicine, mints etc etc etc my makeup palette and the open side zip part I can put other things that I access more frequently love this :)

I use this for my daily cosmetics, and the size is great for tossing in a suitcase or carry on bag for traveling. I keep it filled with trial sizes, samples, and the "give away" cosmetic freebies. If I'm running out the door in a hurry, I can just grab this bag and can take care of my makeup routine later, knowing everything I need is already in there. Use scaled down brushes, pencils, moistures, etc. and you've got everything you need in a beautiful lightweight cosmetic case.

Haven't used this yet and am not sure how it will work out since it arrived with the warning: Due to the very unique nature of this fabric, please handle with special care.It also is not currently on the LeSportsac website. So, I still love the shiny object that caught my eye on sale but I'm not sure how I will use it. I also am not sure how to use the side that opens up book style with the flat mesh pockets...But if I choose a way to use it (I think they are hinting to avoid getting it wet??) and it gets worn out quickly no big deal!

I love small reusable zippered bags for travel; I have other small or medium LeSportsac bags and love the LeStripe pattern (both black and regular).I was very pleased to find that the side zippered pocket contained 2 small pockets made from mesh fabric; the photos here at Amazon appeared to show clear plastic (e.g., vinyl) pockets. I frankly had planned to cut them out and just have the single side zippered pocket.Consequently, I made no modifications to this bag and am very pleased to see mesh instead of vinyl being used.

The LeSportsac cosmetic bag is of the usual excellent quality of this brand. Stitching, zippers & quality of the material is excellent.The size is smaller than was listed. I expected a cosmetic bag of this type & design to be the same size as a man's toiletry bag.It was listed as about 9" by 3" x 3".....Instead, when it arrived it is 7" x 3" x 3". That makes a big difference and it's toosmall for what I needed. Other bags in this same category were listed as smaller, but the bag I picked was listed as bigger.I don't get it. If I am going to buy a product online, I have to be sure that the measurements are listed correctly.Thank you.

I have had a LeSportsac Dopp kit/Travel kit for over 20 years and love it. It was starting to show a bit of wear and so I wanted to buy another. This model looked very similar and so I checked it over and read reviews some of which complained that it was a rip off as the kit was too small. I thought that this person was expecting a piece of luggage and got a small toiletries kit like I wanted, so I didn’t let it influence me. I looked again at the description and could not find any size or dimension data. I ordered the kit and when it came I was shocked. Instead of a kit that I could put my shaving and toiletries in, it was so tiny I would have been lucky to get my shaver in it. My old LeSportsac kit was about 6” x 5” X 10”. This kit was about 2” x 3” x 5”. I returned it needless to say, and this expense and trouble could have been avoided if the size specifications had been listed on the website.

Excellent cosmetic case, with very well thought out separators in front section.
