These are absolutely amazing and have helped tremendously! We haven't used them in the winter yet but it has been amazing during this rainy season and collecting dirt. We have a new construction house and the dogs have been walking in dirt and mud and this catches 90% or more of it all. We still have to wipe off their legs but their paws aren't a concern to us anymore with these mats. We have a small long haired dog and his paws get real muddy, wet, and gross but these have saved us! Our beige couch is still looking brand new thanks to these! And it is truly waterproof for a while atleast and for a decent amount of liquid. Dog vomited on it and it never went through the bottom onto our wood floors! Highly recommend! Just get these its so worth it.Again you will still need to wipe their legs and underbelly off if they get wet but no more mud or dirt coming from their paw pads. And only shake it out outside it is insane how much dirt and debris it has caught in just one time of coming in from outside!

I ordered a few of these mats for the entry into the house. They look great, and are non slip as advertised. Plush, and they seem to cut down on the amount of debris that my dogs bring in. I usually remove my shoes upon entering, but my guy usually doesn't, so the rugs do a good job of keeping what he tracks in off the rest of the floors. My only complaint was that the mats I had bought earlier were too small for my entry way. I bought this in a 4 foot by 6 foot size, and it is probably larger than necessary, but I don't mind. Easy to clean, I can run the vacuum over it, or shake it out. They do wash up well in the machine, but I don't need to do that very often. Colors are vibrant. The green is a deep forest color. I am using the smaller mats in the bathrooms and a medium sized one in front of the kitchen sink. All are comfortable. Shipped well, in plastic and bagged. Arrived within a week and a half. These are substantial, heavy enough so that they stay put. I don't feel like I have placed a tripping hazard in front of the door. I wish that weren't so expensive, but they work well for what I need.

I was skeptical purchasing this rug. I am very impressed. I have a lot of dogs. We have a fenced in backyard with a pool. They like to swim in the pool so they can be wet/ muddy when they come in. This rug definitely cuts down on the dirty tile floor. Not perfect, but much better than any other rug I have had in front of that door. I am also super impressed by how well it stays in place. No need to use any kind of backing to keep in place. I also put their jug of water/water bowl on part of the rug and its soaks up all of their drips. My only concern is that I vacuum my home daily and this isn’t a type of rug that can be vacuumed. It says it machine washable so we will see how well that does. I would definitely purchase this item again. Very, very impressed.

4 stars as it's too early to tell just how good it will be, but it's promising. I am currently at a horse ranch, reachable only by dirt road, and there is 6.5 acres of dirt here. Typically, the dogs go out, and come back in tracking mud paw prints all over the kitchen, when it rains. When it's dry, the dusty dirt sticks to their paws and we are sweeping... It was time for a new door mat, outside- so I bought this. I'm thinking, I make them wait for a minute or 2 at the door, standing on the mat then let them in. Well, last week we had a freak April storm complete with lightning and hail. And the ground was mud city. Dogs had to go out... They came back in, and I didn't see the paw tracks. With just one storm as a test, it's hard to say if it was just a freak thing or if it helped but it looks promising. And the dogs like it, they lay on it while waiting to be let in. It also stays put, I don't have to keep fixing/moving it. So far so good.

Was a bit concerned about how much they would help keep sand, dirt and water off of the floor. We have two young German Shepherds and they can make a mess on every a good day. We purchased two large rugs and a runner rug. Before we were cleaning almost daily, now, it about twice a week that we hVe to clean up after the girls. They wash up nicely but take awhile to dry. As far as staying in place, they give the girls a run for their money. With them running up and down the stairs and in and out the dog doors, they really stay in place for the most part. Looking to purchase a few more for our camper as well.

Love the thickness of the rugs and that I can wash them in my washer. The backing is also thick but it does move/shift on the rug they are on. I bought 2 long runners and a rectangle that I put together to replace a big area rug that couldn't be washed and that didn't have a waterproof backing in my sunroof where my dogs come in the house. I'm glad I will be able to wash them during the rainy and snowy weather.

I actually got this to put in front of my cats’ litter box- I was tired of them tracking dry litter through my apartment. I run a roomba religiously but I have 3 cats so they’re always keeping me on my toes. This isn’t a perfect solution but it definitely traps a solid amount of the dry litter as they exit the box. It’s also very easy to pick up and then shake the dry litter back into the litter box or a trash can. Might not be the intended purpose of this rug but it’s working well for me for this!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a dog and 8 cats so I wanted something for all my doorways. I'm hoping that they are as absorbent as advertised because there is a lot of traffic in and out of my garage and back doorUpdate... Don't get them wet, they have a horrible smell and washing them stinks up your washer. When I found that out I put it outside to dry, and three days later it still stinks!
