Have only used it once on a 25 mile ride with my road biking club. 82 degree temp, humid. Worn under a road biking helmet. Worked well, didn't measurably make my head hot, and is a soft, stretchy material. Rode with brim down and also flipped up at times and no issues. I have about a 24" head, and that's an XL but the cap fit fine. The ride took a bit over 1 hour or about 22 mph average and no problems with the elastic squeezing my head. But 24" is about the max size I would use it on or it may be too tight.

I bought this hat to provide some shade while riding my bicycle. It is perfect; light weight, fits under my helmet, enough brim to give some shade. Bear in mind, this is not like wearing a baseball cap. It is thinner and has a smaller brim, but it works perfectly. I liked it so much, I bought one in another color for my husband. I highly recommend this product.

Great price but runs small. Felt like a tight band on my head but perfect fit for my wife so kept it.

This hat does a surprisingly good job of keeping my eyes shaded considering the size of the brim, and it fits under both my helmets.

Perfect. Best cap I've found for biking in 90+ degree weather.Edit: First one I bought was the white/rainbow Flying Tern. I've used it nearly every day for months and love it. Light, cool, fits my largish head perfectly. So I ordered another.The second one was the black/rainbow with the Hikenture name (I assume made by the same folks). This one was so small it was uncomfortable and I returned it. So the best I can say is that they're inconsistent. If you're willing to purchase a few to find one that fits, it may work out. If you get one that does, you'll love it.As an aside: Several reviews mention the small brim. Yes, it has a small brim. That is not a flaw. It is a cycling cap after all, and cycling caps have small brims. Baseball caps have large brims. Baseball caps are not comfortable under a bike helmet, and fly off your head without a helmet.

Well made... likely best for medium to small heads... may be too tight for folks with larger heads... breathes pretty well and works well when dousing the head while riding to keep some water and cooling on the head... plus it keeps the top of the head from getting a sunburn... I like it well enough that I will buy another one of the more dramatic non-white designs when I don't need the "white one".

Love the colour and design, but the band is too tight and doesn’t fit comfortably under my helmet so I never use it.
