I was looking for a higher quality cassette player that would use USB power to use in my car…this is exactly what I was looking for..! and nice quality…!

Not that this would apply to every cassette player, but the eject button did not work. I’m keeping it nonetheless. Works just fine. Connecting to Bluetooth was easy. For the price it’s a great item.

My husband and I each have our unique collections of cassettes. Let's see... what decade was that? Anyway. went on a serious hunt for a simple to use cassette/radio with BLUETOOTH that would bridge us over to a nice BOSE speaker. This shirt pocket product was just the ticket! Doesn't take up much space. No cables to wrestle with. Just a straight up transfer of some favorite music to a nice small scale Bose stereo speaker we keep in the kitchen for easy listening! Hunt successful. Gotta find the dust cloth and let the party begin...

I just got it today. I played one cassette and now the play button does not work. If you push play it sticks and you can't get it to come back out. Your tape is stuck in the machine. the only way I'm going to get my tape out is destroy the unit. It is a recording of my father giving a sermon before he died. I'm very unhappy!

The motor in this does not play at a regulated speed. So if you're trying to record onto a blank the motor will turn at different rates based on how much tape is left on one side of the tape so it heavily distorts the sound quality. Also having a good power supply is very important.I used an aux cord with my laptop to record an album onto a blank Maxwell UR90 which I know is not high quality media but I'm confident that this player can not produce a good recording that does not have pitch distortion, and you have to use a very low volume level because the line in jack actually intended for a microphone and you will easily max out the volume when recording.But a prerecorded tape actually sounds great on this player and the Bluetooth works easier than I expected. It seems well built, however the record button would not stay down initially, after a few minutes of pressing it I got it to work.

The 1st one played cassette's really slow or fast. It was never consistent, running off batteries or plugged into ac power, it would not play right, so i returned it and got a replacement, the new one works great:Update 2025The new one also has some issues playing slow sometimes, otherwise it plays at normal speed most of the time, better than the 1st one

This cassette player is really reliable, and does the job perfectly.
