My son started watching Sesame Street when he was about 15 months old. We watched 1 episode per day together. He quickly became very enamored with all the characters, especially Elmo and Abby. I got him this book and he LOVED it. It doesn't have much of a story, but he doesn't care. He mainly likes flipping through the pages and pointing to his favorite characters and saying their name. He's a little older now (20 months) and isn't quite as interested in anymore, but he still pulls it out from time to time to look at his friends.

8 months and loves this book

I think this is the nicest board book that I have purchased for my grand baby. The colors are vibrant and the ‘foil’ accents really enhance the picture. The character on each tab is easy to identify and each page had a nice large, colorful picture and simple phrasing. Just right to keep the attention of a 7 mo. old.If I find any companion board books on Amazon I will definitely buy them. Very happy with this purchase

Great book for Sesame Street fans! We bought this when my son was 11 months old, and it's still one of his favorites at nearly 16 months old. Every page has its own character in bright colors, and it includes a lot of different characters. The tabbed pages are great, since that allows my son to skip forward to his favorites (or back and forth between his favorites) at any time. It's a good size too, and it seems pretty sturdy so far.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great book for early Sesame Street fans who are just learning the characters. The colorful pages and tabs are great visual reminders of which name goes with which monster. The cover is puffy, so that's nice for little kids to touch. I got this for my 2-year-old and he gets a kick out of it. I wish I would have purchased it when he was younger because I think he'd have loved it. Since he's kind of getting out of board books, I'm not sure how long he'll continue to refer to this one, but since he likes Sesame Street, hopefully it'll be on our shelf for awhile. My only complaints are I wish that they'd put Snuffy in the book rather than Baby Bear. I also wish there was a little bit more info on each character. But otherwise, it's a great into to Sesame Street characters.

This has become one of our book staples! We have to read it nearly every night before bed. My son has certain books that he likes better than others and this was instantly one of those books. The illustrations are good, text is easy to read and short enough that he doesn't lose interest. It's a board book too, which holds up a lot better with an almost 2-year old than paper books!
