Chinese Laundry Women's New Capture

The BEST Chinese laundry boot I've ever bought. Fit is perfect, the vintage look is great, they are so comfortable & I get compliments on them almost everyday.

These boots are cute, stylish, and comfortable. No breaking in required. I usually wear a size 9 but ordered an 8.5 because 9 was not available. 8.5 fit perfectly with room for a thick sock and skinny jeans tucked inside. These boots are thin leather with a thin inner liner. They are not made for warmth. The leather is decent quality for the sale price I paid but I would have expected better had I paid full price. Ordered in black and had no discoloration issues as previous reviews mentioned with the cognac. Overall I am happy and satisfied with my purchase.

Threads were busted on both boots when I opened the box. Boots were to small and nothing like the color of the picture. Still nice boots but very cheaply constructed.

When these boots arrived, I noticed right away that the toe had water stains on them. There was also a nick in the leather and the stitching on one boot was not very smooth. I had to send them back, however, the return process was very simple and accommodating. I did like the color and style of the boot, so I was really disappointed that they were damaged before I received them.

True to size, cute and relatively comfortable. Certainly a beautiful color cognac! I returned the item because it ultimately wasnt my style once I saw it in person - the top of the boot is a little loose, and not fitted to the calf, so personally it reminded me of boots for working on a ranch. But theyre beautiful regardless! Just not my style.

I got this pair of boots months ago and I wear them ALL the time. They are comfortable, stylish, sturdy, and they allow for bigger calves like mine. I love the adjustable straps, too because I can tighten the tops for when I'm wearing tights or leggings and loosen them up when I'm wearing skinny jeans. These boots are definitely worth it!

I love the look of these boots! They're the perfect cognac color, and fit my larger cafls perfectly. I gave 4 stars though because my pair seemed to have little imperfections (discoloring, scuffs) that I still can't tell we're purposeful to the type of boot, or actual imperfections. Also, they don't really look like real leather. Even with those negatives, I still really like them and would consider them a great find!

I've been looking for boots that fit my calves forever. I have muscular runners' legs and most boots have been way too tight to have my skinny jeans under the boots, but not these - they fit great. They are just tight enough that they don't slouch down at my ankles. The shoe size is pretty accurate, I'm a 7.5 - 8 depending on the shoe and wasn't sure if I should try a 7.5 and hope for the best, or just get an 8. Being that these are real leather I opted for the 7.5 hoping that if they were tight I could stretch them out a tad, but there was no need for that. The 7.5 fit perfectly! They are so comfortable, I hardly know I'm wearing shoes at all.The only con would be the upper buckle - when I cross my legs, it digs into my knee a little and I have to adjust the boot a little. I feel like its a minor issue though.
