Wonderful Book
As I deal with passing of my parents, this book has brought comfort and warmth in reading the Evans family truths through their grief journey. It is refreshing to see believers share with such transparency.

Good audio book.
I bought for a friend going through breast cancer. She found it encouraging and full of faith. It helped encourage her through a bad time in her life. Thank God today, she's in remission.

A Story of HOPE
Thank you to the Evans family for sharing these deeply disturbing memories as they navigate the paths from personal loss to rededicated statements of faith in God's promises. From despair and brokenness to renewed confidence in the One who gave it all. Your stories demonstrate the much-needed bonds of spiritual unity required in order to fully escape and move beyond this wounded and divided post-Covid world.

GET THIS BOOK❣️❣️
This really is a wonderful book!! I felt like I was sitting around the table with the Evans, Hurst, Shirer family as they were telling their stories. They made Dr. Lois Evans come alive and their candor was gripping. It was beautiful to experience them as raw and real as they were instead of the larger than life people they can sometimes seem to be. This book was personal and inviting. In all of their honesty, they pointed us back to God. The fact that they were each able to share their broken hearts and yet still trust God through all of their losses, shows how rooted in God they really are. Get this book and read it again and again!! I plan to!!

Journey from heartbreak to healing
This is a book about pain, growth and change. It is told from five different perspectives, but each expression is one of raw honesty and complete transparency. The Evans family vulnerably share the ups and downs of their journey as each of them individually came from a place of heart break to humble surrender. They share their experiences not with regret, or to rebuke the reader for feeling the same... but rather in a way that allows the reader permission to feel the human emotions that come with loss and pain, encouraging a perspective of hope that draws us closer to God, allowing us to experience His grace, healing power, and abundant love in a more tangible way. It's a free flowing dialogue of hope and trust in a sovereign God who's ways don't always make sense to us, and an encouragement of intentional growth in our relationship with God by increasing, trust, time and intimacy with Him.The words Dr Tony Evans uses when sharing about the great reset is directed to the nation of the United States of America... but his wisdom and advice applies to people in every nation all over the world. The Evans, Hurst and Shirer families demonstrate through these pages how it is possible to adjust to a new normal after deep loss and grief through the healing power and hope that is in Christ. It is the epitome of Romans 8:28.I ended this book the same way I started... in tears. But unlike the tears shed in the beginning chapters, tears of grief from their deep heartbreak and loss, the tears at the end were ones of wonder. Wonder at a God who can take seasons of brokenness and make them testimonies of healing and strength. A real life, modern day demonstration that the struggle was part of the process, and the process was necessary for progress.Divine Disruption is a book that will change peoples lives all over the world. If you have ever experienced any kind of disappointment, loss or grief, or know anyone who has, I would highly recommend this book for you.

Thank you
This book has been a blessing to me on so many levels. I've marked and highlighted so much rigorously. I was praying to God for a book to start reading this year. Unknowingly my father was terminally ill and would be dying within a month of saying this. There are so many similarities within this book when it comes to my family as well as how close-knit we are. Therefore, I bookmarked quite a bit. To lose our father was a tremendous heartbreak and right before his death, my daughter lost her father as well. My ex-husband. No matter what, I still loved him, and that broke my heart. So we both lost our daddies a week a some days apart. Not even 2 weeks! This book popped up first because I typed heartbroken while seeking something to help me through these hardships. It was a great decision amongst you all to come together and help others in ways unimaginable. I am still grieving as it's only been a couple of weeks since I got back to my home in FL. The reality of getting back to my life was a struggle. Day-by-day I'm pulling through and this book helped along the way. So, again... when there are no words to form my gratitude and the need for help (with similar stories), I say, thanks. Job well done. It worked.

Excellent Book for Anyone Who is Hurting
This book is for anyone whose life has been rocked by tragedy, especially the loss of a loved one. But it will also apply to anyone who has an unexpected event in their life—unexpected illness or surgery, loss of job, divorce, loss of friendship. With great candor and compassion the Evans family shares their own trials, how they walked through them individually and collectively as a family. I encourage everyone to purchase this book, or for someone who they know is hurting. This book will promote healing, and offer compassion and hope.
