element ELEFW328R 32in 720p HDTV (Renewed)

I was in the market for a new television and was hoping to keep it under a certain amount of money, I didn't want (nor did I need) anything fancy or with added features, just something basic. I chose this television as it was priced under $100 (Refurbished) and met my needs. My old TV was about 10 years old and would randomly turn on and off for no reason. It was also getting harder for me to see the screen - which wouldn't had been terrible, had the bezels not been so huge, as it was 26-27" screen. I knew I wanted a slightly larger screen and wanted to keep it at either 32 or 40 inch because of my room size and I knew anything else would be too big for the area. I decided to go with the slightly smaller of the two screen sizes and it has been perfect. I placed it on a dresser and fits perfectly there. i am using the legs that were included, instead of hanging it (as I don't trust hanging TVs lol).Sound is also a lot better than on my old television. I can have this television down to a level 2 and still hear it throughout the room. I like to keep it on 3 though, just because depending on the show and what is being said it's hard to hear everything at level 2. For example, with my old television, I'd need it on at least 8-10 to hear it in my room (same spot as this one) and that would be so loud that you could hear it down the hall and in other rooms, but that was the "sweet spot" to hear everything since the shows value was different depending on show (or advert). Shows and adverts are the same on this television (As it's not the TVs fault) but because of the way the volume comes through, a much lower level is fine... as a huge plus to that, I don't feel like I'm losing my hearing lmao!!!I have a ROKU, picture quality and sound on all the apps I've chosen is great as well. It does take a bit for it to 'kick in'on some applications as far as picture, but I think that's more of an internet issue and not the TV itself.The TV is so light weight. Whenever I touch it to move it's angle or position (sometimes I move it to the left, right, etc), I feel like I will break it by touching it. I think the packaging it was in weighed more than the actual television itself! It was very nicely packaged and because of that, I wasn't fearful of any breaks, that could happen during delivery (this was the first time I've ordered such an item online). So, great job with packaging and shipping.The only real down side for me is the remote itself, sometimes the buttons stick for no reason.I would def recommend this television. it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well, as far as I'm concerned! I've had this television since 27 Dec 2018, so it is a long term review.

This TV was the best purchase I have ever made on Amazon, and perhaps the best I've ever made in general. The quality is truly respectable, and I would never guess this product was refurbished. Their refurbishing team is very talented. This TV is HUGE for the price, all while maintaining quality. It's unheard of for a television of this caliber to list at such an affordable price. I thought honestly it would have more drawbacks when I had owned it and used it heavily for a while. I am pleasantly surprised to be able to say the graphics are great, crystal clear and bright with no lagging or issues syncing the audio to the video. I never have any problems linking my comcast box, my retro gamecube gaming system, or my modern PS4 console, and was even happier to see enough ports to have all 3 of these connected at the same time.It's also very fast, always loading quickly from the power-on screen, or during shut down. It doesn't ever lag badly when maneuvering through smart functions either, even when accessing internet apps!Honestly, if you're on a budget but want a TV that is large enough for your whole family to enjoy, while maintaining graphic and audio quality, the Element ELEFW328R 32" 720p HDTV (Certified Refurbished) from the Element TV Company was honestly a HUGELY pleasant surprise. Element, you've made a customer for life, for sure!! I look forward to purchasing my next TV for our downstairs TV through you folks!

Surprisingly great TV for a refurbished product. Shipping was fast and came before the date specified. The TV itself was in great condition, easy to set up and as discribed. Clear picture, sound is okay confide ring the price you're paying. Two things that I noticed a bunch of other people had too was that it only came with 7 screws (supposed to be 8 or 9), and that it came with a different base than shown in the stock pictures. Still overall a great product, will buy from this company again.EDIT: completely satisfied, never had a problem or concern with it at all. Recommend buying a set of PC speakers with a 3.5 mm jack to connect to the tv because the tv speakers themselves arent the greatest, I did that within the first week. Display, everything else, works amazingly, good product.

This TV is going into a vacation rental. So, I will start by saying that initial cost is a major consideration. I am less concerned about long life, because it is likely to die an untimely death at the hands of somebody's kid, anyway, and buying a $1200 Samsung won't save me from that.So, picture quality for the buck is fantastic. It is bright and vivid. It may only be 720p, but at the 32" screen size, getting signal from subscription cable, there is no reason to pay extra for higher resolution. Sound is not bad at all. You won't mistake it for a Bose soundbar, for sure, but it is far better than a similar Visio that I also use.The reason I am docking it one star is two-fold. First, because the USB port can only display one file type - .JPG. It will not display any other image file, nor will it play a video file. That is a feature I had hoped to be able to use. The description on the Amazon website was a little ambiguous, but seemed to indicate that it could play video. However, if you read the reviews, you will find that there are actually a couple of similar models that are being shipped out. The model I received will not play video over USB.The second reason I am docking it the one star is that I cannot get it to work with my DirectTV universal remote. The settings for the remote have a selection for Element TVs, but it doesn't work. I tried all sorts of other codes, too, with no success. So, add one more remote to the pile.All that griping aside, this TV works really well for what it is. The picture is great, sound is good, and it is very lightweight for wall mounting.
