Poorly Shielded
These hiss, and pick up a lot of interference. They pop whenever the fan in my attic turns off. At least once I could hear staticy music coming from them. I have no idea where that was coming from.

Support?
The speakers worked great for maybe 2 weeks. Now they let out an annoying hum noise when turned on. Regardless of whether they're plugged into the computer or not.I can't seem to find their website or get any kind of support whatsoever.Be warned!

Brilliant sound quality for computer speakers
I have a pair of Labtec speakers from 15 years ago that I love(Labtec Edge 418 Desktop Computer Flat Panel Speakers & Subwoofer). Brilliant sound quality for computer speakers! I was looking for a second set, but decided to go with these after reading the reviews. They arrived promptly and in good new condition. These are new "old stock". The sound is good, but there is not any base control. The level the base is set at is very low which is dissapointing(I like base-but not at a dub step level).

Very nice speakers with crisp and clear sound
I purchased these as a present for someone else. I was surprised by the crisp clear sound these speakers have. Plus I was able to turn the volume all the way up without any distortion. They can get loud enough to fill a room. The bass/boom sounds about right to me. Although those people who like to boom their music till your ears rattle probably wouldn't like these. But the bass sounds like it should sound.I currently own the Cambridge Soundworks 2000 speakers for my own computer, and yet I was still very impressed with these labtec ones. They are very nice looking, and come with a seperate volume switch/dial... something you don't find on less expensive speakers.I had also purchased some cheap $10 speakers from Newegg a couple months ago, but those were extremely bad. They weren't even worth sending back due to shipping costs and Neweggs restocking fees. There are many reviews of these Labtec speakers on Ebuyer.com. Do a search for Labtec 375 on their website. All of them very good reviews by users. Labtec also makes a higher watt version of these speakers, but I don't think those come with a seperate volume switch.(...)

Great sound for the cost
I got these after owning a set of Kinyo SW-66 speakers for six years. The first thing that caught my attention was the remote. the second was the wood enclosed subwoofer box. For the price, these speakers sound really well. The bass is great (I had to put my Kinyo subwoofer in the bottom drawer of my desk to get the same quality). The satellites produce crisp highs and mid-range with the sub filling in the lows. If you don't need surround sound and don't need super quality speakers, definitely consider these.

Pretty cool speaker system, with good sound
This is a pretty impressing set of speakers. Mainly because of their versitility, but the sound quality is hardly compromised. Because of the amazingly ingenious silver dongle switch that sits on your desktop, you don't have to touch the actual speakers for power and volume functions, which can be difficult and certainly inconvenient in some setups. Even if you don't have them in any particular position, though, they sound great.
