Nutty and sweet - excellent quality
This chickpea flour is a delight to use – nutty and sweet, it's excellent for making Pakistani pakora and flatbreads. It's also a good substitute for wheat flour in baking and cooking if friends need to eat gluten-free food. It can be used along with wheat flour to add flavor to batters. It's really good added to a pizza crust dough. The flour is the usual good Red Mill quality – it is always fresh and uniform in the milling and is easy to work as a dough. I don't need it very often but I keep a bag of it on the shelf so it's there when I need it.

mixed feelings
I've bought from this store before and I never had a problem. Although recently with my last order I found woodchips in the bag itself. I don't know if it was just a terrible batch, but I tossed the bag itself out.I love making pancakes and waffles with this brand. It's the best one out there.

Nice
If you beat garbanzo liquid from canned beans it works like egg whites. I added some flour and a tiny bit of sweetner and made pancakes. Drizzled some blueberry sauce over it. It worked great and was gluten/dairy/fat/egg free. This flour could also be used for muffins probably. I may also try it to thicken some gravy or sauce.

Not as good as real Indian besan / gram flour, but a great substitute
I use this in my yogurt curry / punjabi kudi, and it comes out very flavorful with this chickpea flour. You typically find it in Whole Foods or Tom Thumb, but it's usually harder to find in other stores like Target, which is why I ordered it here. I usually keep it in the freezer to keep the moisture out, and it lasted me, full flavor, for at least 2 years for the occassional curry ingredient. Gram flour / besan has a lot of protein too and imparts a nutty flavor, IMHO. Authentic seekers should go for real Besen / gram flour if you can find it.

Bob's Red Mill Garbanzo Bean Flour Rocks!
I love this flour! I researched various ways to make my own and I personally use the beans in making veggie burgers, but this is a wonderful new experience in using the flour. I bought it specifically to make crispy spinach pakora's shared on YouTube by Chetna Makan who was a semi-finalist on The Great British Bake Off in 2014. Chetna's mother joined her on YouTube and made crispy spinach pakora's and I had to make my own. My family loved them!

Versatile, Healthy & Encourages Creativity
This is great, I am allowed creativity and have added it to meals as a healthy replacement for a different item. I love that it is high in protein, fiber. I have used coconut flour in the past, this is comparable in recipes. Bonus: company's home office is in Milwaulkie, Oregon. Highly Recommend seller: Meema Market LLC

Just started using it. Don't have too much experience ...
Just started using it. Don't have too much experience with using it since I am just transitioning to a vegan diet and all the recipes I have been experimenting with are new tastes and textures but it seems to do the job when called for.

Even fried chicken!
I use this instead of flour for making chicken fried steak and for thickening gravy and for making pancakes (with diced shrimp and scallions). In fact, I use it for all kinds of things I used to use flour for. I know chicken fried steak doesn't sound all that healthy - but when you think that you're not dipping it in wheat flour but in garbanzo bean flour instead, it's a whole 'nother thang. I keep it on my shelf in the refrigerator and don't want to run out. (The recipe on the back for falafal is falawful - I don't recommend it).
