Q: Do you think this will work well for thick long matted dog hair? Also does it get caught or pull on hairs often?

I think it might work on dog hair as well as cat hair. I used it on my long haired cat who had some really bad mats and it worked very easily. I did make sure to have it fully charged each time I used it. I would say that you would not want to use the guards, though, or it would not be as effective. I did not notice mush pulling with it as I moved it slowly allowing it time to get the worst of the mats. Worth a try, I think.

Q: Clipper has a metal clipper blade instead of ceramic now. Is this new but not reflected in the posting?

I don't know about now, but mine has the ceramic blade. It's a good product, does a nice job.

Q: Lost my directions. How do I oil these clippers?

You run a little oil across the blade base after you clean blade and then run clipper to allow the oil to get into blade wipe excess off before using. This is what I do.

Q: Do you sell a 24 mm clipper guard?

We only have 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm clipper guard
