SpyderWeb 14XL Small but Mighty Field Point Only Crossbow Targets 500 FPS and a Crossbow Discharge Target, No Speed Limit, Easy Arrow Pull, Withstands Harsh Weather

This was my third attempt at finding a target that worked with my particular crossbow model which shoots at 410 fps. This one is ideal, I had no problems extracting my bolt.

The media could not be loaded. Shot taken from 3 feet away, a 435 grain bolt traveling roughly 425 ft./s. The bolt sank in at least 5 inches and could be pulled out easily with two fingers.

I tried all the major-brand so-called high-speed crossbow targets, but nothing would stop the bolts of my TenPoint without ruining the fletchings.I decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. It works.I have about 50 shots into the target, and it has stopped every one without letting any penetrate into the fletchings.Having said that, my crossbow hits so hard that there is no two-finger arrow removal as stated in the description. I still have to put the target on its back, place a foot on the target face and pull hard to get the arrows out.Also, the target is smaller than its competitors, making it a little more difficult to sight in a new bow. You have to get really close to ensure you will hit the target with that first shot, which also means you will bury that shot up to the fletchings and have more difficulty getting it out of the target.I mention these things simply as precautions so other buyers aren't surprised. You can't really call them negatives when the target is doing what it's supposed to do (and especially when everything else won't get the job done).

Will buy again if needed, stops crossbow bolts.

I found that Both my Spyder Targets work best when it is warm. Shoot 400 fps and higher for this usually using Proelite and CP Bolts. In the cooler temperatures the 2-3" area behind field point develops very noticeable fractures in the Bolt. The material inside Target becomes in bedded in the shaft of the Bolt hard to prove the Bolt didn't hit a solid point on impact. Check Bolts after every shot using these, also back up to 60-70 yards to reduce impact into this Target.

Per the title, this is the bee's knees for high-power crossbow shooters. It is a dense target, and has some weight to it, so it does not move around as you hit it multiple times even at close distances. I have another target that is very difficult to remove arrows from, so I bought this one hoping that the reviewers were accurate--and they are. It is absolutely no problem at all to remove arrows even from modern high power crossbows. Mine is not as fast as the latest/greatest, but I'm shooting over 400fps, and I have no issues whatsoever.
