Hybrid design with good sound quality.
First off, these don't exactly sit in your ear. It is an interesting concept, the bulb/ear piece is basically pushed into your ear hole by the clip. It's not uncomfortable, if anything it creates a more secure fit than my old pair of Sony's that went in the ear canal, but the clip didn't hold anything. On my old Sony's I could turn my head and jaw enough in 10 minutes that they would start to fall out, these seem much better in that regard. Now sound quality...this is kind of tricky. They aren't bad by any means, but I wouldn't say they are great. My old Sony's were better, much better clarity yet they lacked in the bass department. I also have a pair of the Koss KTXPRO1, which are damn good for the money. Compared to either of those these lack in the highs, it's not blazingly apparent when you first listen to them, but if you go back and forth with better headphones you'll notice it some. Bass, there is a ton of it. Not really muddy though, just bass heavy. They are fairly hard to get a good EQ setup with, it's like there are a few specific frequencies that are getting muddled, so to much highs and things get bad. Don't get me wrong, for working out (or yard work) they work great and sound good. I just wouldn't buy them as my primary means to listen to music with during my downtime.Honestly if I had the opportunity to listen to them in person I might have looked at other options, but for what I use them for and their life time warranty it's hard to go wrong. Of course I wasn't going to buy another pair of Sony's that were going to fail in a few years...so there is that (and I'm not spending more that $40 or so on headphones for yard/house work.)

6 Month Review: Great Purchase!!!
**UPDATE NOV 25 2016*** Perhaps my first pair was lucky. I've gone through another pair in the last month and am on my 3rd set this year. Still a good value dollar-for-dollar. My only qualm now is this: the warranty requires a $7 check be sent in addition to mailing the earbuds back to Koss on your dime. From there they say a 72~ hour turnaround on shipping out a new pair. THIS ONLY MAKES SENSE IF YOU HARDLY EVER RUN -or- YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PAIRS ON HAND. I think the way I broke two pairs in two months was by using them with my phone in a jeans pocket and doing a lot of sitting and standing. So be warned! And another note that I neglected before: the cord tangles pretty easily.Other than that... I'm still satisfied. Not changing soon.***UPDATE*** After about 8 months, my PROFUSE sweating (e.g., 10 lbs over an 8 mile run yesterday), these half-shorted in one ear. I grabbed my brand new backup pair. Sound quality, as stated in initial review, is still not good. But that's to be expected at the price point and it's no sacrifice at all as far as I'm concerned. I also just got a pair for my girlfriend who also loves them. At $12-15 you just can't beat going through even two pairs of these per year. Could also add to my original review that the cord kinks up pretty good with these--these are best draped over something rather than jumbled up, because you'll have to untangle them later. Definitely my favorite running/gym phones EVER and I have tried a TON of them over the years. These are by far the cheapest and BY FAR the best at staying in place and being comfortable. Buy with total confidence IMO.******I'm a big dude and a distance runner. It sounds like a herd of water buffalo mid-stampede when I run, for reference. I also sweat like a pig at a butcher's shop.Much like Disney's new money-printing machine...er, the re-treading of Star Wars, you can safely disregard the marketing schtick that sells these as being gender-specific. That is, for chicks. Unless you have both Dumbo ears and a Tito Ortiz head--again, with Dumbo ears to match--you can use these just fine. The only sizing issue of note is a (relatively) short cord. This is ideal for workouts/running but I suspect that if you're north of 6'4" these would verge on impractical due to the cord length.Shopped for good running 'phones for most of 2015 and was always horribly disappointed. So imagine my surprise when a $15 pair of ultra-simple Koss turned out to be EXACTLY what I needed? I've tried all the stupid Bluetooth, complex, overpriced stuff, and was never as satisfied as just spending $15 on these bad boys (girls?).In short: purchased these about 6 months ago. They work great. They don't rub and they sit nice and soft on your ears. They don't budge. I have run hundreds of water buffalo miles in these whilst sweating like David Cameron after Brexit and can't recall a time when they slipped or fell out. I don't think I've ever even had to readjust them. For $15... you just can't beat that. All they are is a simple piece of soft molded rubbed that the wire tucks into. The wire can be popped in and out--meaning it won't ever just tear unless you do something incredibly silly to it. From an engineering standpoint, that probably adds lifespan to the buds/wiring.Notables: There is no in-line mic. That means carrying a seperate mic-enabled set and/or Bluetooth and swapping. For the fancy tech-oriented, WASP millennial type, that might be a hindrance. And the cord is quite short. I'm 6'3 and I run it under my workout tops. Occasionally I'll catch it on something and my phone will go flying and/or the phones will get torn out of the base. But six months in and no problems yet. I even sleep with these bad boys on. No problems so far.Sound quality ain't great, obviously. It's completely serviceable for gym work and running, however.Came here to order a backup pair in something other than Lime (which is GREAT for finding them in your room, bag, whatever).Buy with confidence IMO.

Words cannot describe how awesome these are...
Short Story:Sound Quality = A+Fit (especially for small ears) = A++Noise Cancelling = A+...Never worry about earbuds falling out mid-workout again!Long Story:I am going to post my "story" so others with similar concerns can feel safe with this purchase. It took me YEARS to get away from headsets because I simply could not find earbuds that fit in my child-size ears... all were too large. About 10 years ago I found the basic interchangeable earbuds with 3 different size choices and thought my prayers had been answered when the smallest size finally stayed in my ears. That is, until I started exercising. Let's just say Motion + Sweat = earbuds falling out of my ears and endless hours jamming them back in anytime I move. Ugh! I was too afraid to spend good money on over-the-ear earbuds or earbuds made for athletes because I was certain they would not fit, but with these being $15 and grad school nearly over (no more searching the couch cushions for loose change!) I figured it wouldn't be the end of the world.Simply said, these earbuds are LIFE SAVERS! I am certainly no music pro (like I said, I have had very few earbuds & headsets in my life), so do not hold me to those comparisons. I also despise cardio fitness, so I need distractions like music or TV shows to help pass the time when I workout. I enjoy a good run listening to my music or working on the cardio equipment while watching TV shows on my tablet. The endless poking at my falling-out-earbuds was so irritating it took away from the enjoyment of my music and my exercise, and so I'd usually cut a workout short. These Koss Fitclips- which I have had for about 1 week now- have been so effective that I have actually done two 1+ hour workouts for the past few days. Thanks to these earbuds I have a new found love for working out (while catching up on my TV shows, of course). :)They fit SO comfortably in my child-sized ears. Since these come with 3 interchangeable earbud sizes, I still use the smallest earbud size and it is incredibly comfortable. Someone in a previous review mentioned they had difficulty getting them to fit/putting them in their ears and that worried me, but I bought them anyway. The day these came in the mail I was so excited I tried putting them in right away (with the medium-sized earbud that automatically came on it). I couldn't get those suckers to fit, even just around my ear, if I wanted to. You MUST have the correct earbud size in place for these to work and fit appropriately. Once I placed the small size on, they were absolutely fine. I had to use the mirror the first couple times I put them in, since they go in the ear and then "slide" back into place for the correct fit. Once they're in correctly, you'll know it because they cancel out noise very well (not like airplane headphones intentionally made for noise-cancelling, but pretty darn close). With my music or TV shows on, that's all I can hear unless I am really paying attention for a noise to occur (i.e. someone in front of me is talking or someone is on a loud treadmill next to me). If I was out for a run and someone came from behind to pass me, I would am 99% sure I would not hear them say "On the left!" as they passed. Personally, I enjoy the psychological seclusion when I am working out and I do not think it's so quiet that it is unsafe (if a car blared a horn at me, I would be able to hear it).And if you're a fashion-focused chick (I'm not, but I saw in the reviews some folks cared about the colors), I got Mint, which is my favorite color. It turned out to be absolutely adorable in real-life, as well. Pretty accurate to the photo color, I believe, though I am not really attuned to that sort of stuff. All in all, these are fantastic. Highly recommended. I would give 6 stars if they let me.

Absolutely will not come off your ears unless you want them to.
While they are advertised as 'for women' they are actually too big for my wife's ears. Fit great on mine though, best headphones I've ever had for exercise.

Short life of product
It lasted a month and a half, then broke... one week after the return window. I won't be buying these again.
