JSI Adjustable & Portable Piano-Cello-Musician Bench (Stool-Seat)

I started taking cello lessons a very short time ago and needed a bench because my chairs all have arms or were not the correct height for lessons. This bench is excellent. I was surprised at how sturdy it is. The cello musician bench came fully assembled - just slide the leg in place; and it's adjustable too for players of different heights. And the price is outstanding for such a quality product. I looked at many other musician benches, most significantly more expensive than this one, and I'm very glad I made this purchase. My cello teacher approves and so do I. If you're looking for a cello (or piano) bench, this is the one. I am 5'2" and the center setting is perfect for me. There are two other setting - one lower and one higher, so I think this bench will work for others who are taller or shorter than I am. Shipping was fast and cheap (only $5) which is not bad because there is some weight to this bench. A definite best purchase.

I wish it went just a smidge lower - I have a 9 year old and at the lowest setting, still a little too high. I was debating on this and other, much more expensive chairs. I had read that angle of the chair is important. This isn't designed to be at an angle, though technically it could be if you adjusted one side higher than the other. Might be too steep. Overall it's fine, just probably not the last cello chair we will own.

When I received this stool it had a crooked foot bar, a manufacturing defect. I asked for an exchange, the procedure was quick and very easy, the one I received was perfect.

This is a sturdy stool. I was disappointed that the foam in the seat did not hold its cushion and you sink down to the frame. Contacted the company but didn't hear back.

Not a Cello Stool! I bought this for my 6 year old who is learning cello. She is taller than average of her age but even at the lowest adjust, the bench is way too tall for her. Her feet can barely touch the floor, which is of course not acceptable for cello playing. It may be good for piano playing, but definitely not for cello.

We have ordered 6 of these so far and the instructors and students are very pleased with them. As well, they fold up easily and are ideal for when we have performances off site.

I live in a motorhome and set up a small "office" area and needed a small seat that I could be comfortable and be able to fold when underway. It more than fills the bill and and very happy I found it.

My 6 yr old granddaughter needed a strong, attractive and aesthetically pleasing piano bench, which, from my point of view should be reasonably priced. Well this is it. This portable bench is perfect and reasonably priced.
