Lineba Aquarium Cleaner Battery Operated Fish Tank Siphon Vacuum Water Changer Transfer

Just used this on 75g tank. Impressive power as it can pull up tiny gravel bits. Had another battery operated vac by a big company that does great canister filters but went through 4 in 4 years and quality was getting worse. This is so much better.We'll see if it can sustain. No instructions were included and all writing on box is in another language (Chinese?) but fairly straightforward assembly.

This worked great for me. I agree having no instructions is not good, but the product pictures show how to put it together. I used it on my 35 gallon set up (see my pictures). I used it first to clean the waste from the bottom using the mesh - worked great. Mesh cleans up good too.Then used the blue tube to do a 5 gal. water change. Amazed at what this pump does with just two AA batteries.Only downside (took away 1 star) is the battery compartment -- too big for two AA - so I used a rubber coaster (see pics) to keep them into place -- Works great with this fix.

I am giving this 5 stars because it works and works well. For my purpose it seems to work too well. I have fine gravel and it tends to suck it right up into the motor and gets stuck. I suppose there is something I can do to to stop this but I haven't tried anything yet. I also have the larger type cleaner that you connect to a faucet with a 25' foot line running to the tank. I just thought this might be less hassle if I just want to do a quick cleaning.

This makes owning fish so much easier!!DONT LET IT SUCK UP ROCKS, because it will!I use this with the blue tube to suck out the water for water changes into a bucket, and then fill a bucket with new water/chemical mixture and transfer it to the tank. SO MUCH LESS MESS!! Its a quick and powerful pump, I was pretty impressed.YOU MAY HAVE TO SHORTEN THE TUBE!

Finally figured how to put it together, at lest I think I did it right. There are no instructions in any language, and only chinese on the box itself. Stuck it in the water, turned it on, after about 3 seconds it started making this horrible noise. Turned it off and on, took it apart and put it back together, still making that horrible noise. Not suctioning water at all, noise or not. I'm returning this and choosing another.

No directions! Can't figure out how to put it together.Review 2. after the company sent a replacement as I was missing pieces...... still 1 star. I got all the pieces which fit together as shown in the photo they sent in their correspondence. When the batteries were installed (no directions included or size needed on that point either), the bottom piece started to spin (maybe 3 rotations and fell off), I tried again and the same thing happened. The third attempt the motor seemed to weaken or something. The pieces kept falling apart through all attempts and absolutely no suction.

I mean, you get what you paid for. It took me forever to get it working right. There's a metal strip that you have to manipulate to sit across the top of the first battery. The motor sounds like it could explode. The ON/OFF button is a joke, you have to take the batteries out to get it to turn off. The entire box is in an Asian language and it doesn't come with any directions. I did eventually get it working (you have to dip 3/4 of the pole down into the water, which is super hard to do with a 10gal tank; I had the stick as short as possible), and it does do a little bit. The bag fills up in a short amount of time and starts squirting out the sides at random like a sprinkler.I probably won't use it again. Just spend the extra money to have a good, reliable vacuum that's going to last you.
