Affordable Agility Agility in The Bag

I purchased this product a couple months back and decided that I would write this review after I have a couple of months with it to fully see the potential in this product.Hardware: This product comes with a great amount of poles (PVC pipe) that are a good thickness. The chute that comes with is extremely sturdy and feels real authentic! My dog loves to zip through it. You will also receive a pack of blue tape and a pack of red tape to make your lines on your poles. The carrying case that is included is very large and it fits all the equipment nicely! Makes it real simple to carry this product from location to location. The hoop that came with this I was a little disappointed with. It does feel and look cheap but despite that it does get the job done and helps your dog get use to running through a real hoop. The "table" or "pause box" is exactly what it looks like.Difficulty: This product is not hard to set up by all means! I would say kids from 7years and older could assemble this without a problem. If you properly mark the equipment you will easily recognize what pipe goes where when you are assembling/re-assembling this product.Usability: After I properly set up all my equipment and marked all of my poles with the red and blue tape, I gave this equipment a test run with my dog. I created a mini obstacle with what was provided and my dog took to it just like a real course! Keep in mind my dog and I go to a real agility gym and he is use to the real equipment and he took to this agility like it was the real thing! The weave poles wobble a little but not enough to affect the dog weaving, and the pause box took some getting used to due to the face that my dog is use to a table. Besides that this equipment worked out really well.Pros: Pause box, chute, tire, weave poles, jump at a great price! Transports easy! Mimics real equipment Affordable!Cons: Time consuming when setting up equipment Tire is a little cheapOverall: All in all, this is a great product! I really enjoy the fact of making my own agility course in my backyard! I really feel like it helped my dog grow and learn! I would recommend this product to any one who is interested or already doing agility! It's easy enough for a kid to set up and but great enough for an advance agility handler. Great product that is affordable!

I have 2 of these kits and they are wonderful. Even if you plan as I did to leave them permenantly set up in your space, they are solid enough to not fall down every few minutes.But because they are designed to mobile, when you do try to move them various pieces may pop out of their slots. This helps for mobility but is kind of annoying when you are simply moving aside or repositioning on the floor. I cannot blame the product though (I would be bitching if they were impossible to take apart)Anyway, my solution to the "popping out" problem was to buy some elasticated ribbon (as thin and narrow as possible) at your local crafts store (or Amazon!), drill a few holes near the connector ends of the poles and string a few inches of ribbon through.This allowed the equipment pieces to move should a dog hit them but stay in place. In the rare case that the piece popped out it didnt roll off or get separated and stayed together.

My pup is taking to it slowly. Only used the jump so far and just the 3rd or 4th outing. But a lot of fun.Very sturdy pieces.Love the safety features -- the disconnects to prevent the dog getting hung up.Trying the tunnel now. The stakes bend a little too easily when driving into the ground.Felt guilty about spending so much but glad I did in retrospect.Will give you hours of joy -- assuming you have the patience.Full setup takes a lot of space though -- more than I have.

I wasn't expectingmuch because of the price, but it turned out to be an awesome product. I have a blue heeler/german shepard mix that I wanted to train in agility. I am new to the sport, so this product looked right up my alley. It was ready to assemble right or of the box. I started with the weave poles. I never got to venture in to the rest because I was injured permanently(not from this) while in the midst of training not allowing me to train anymore. But while using it. The olels stayed on and in place while I was training. It was ready to disassemble and store when not in use. I would recommend this to those wanted to try their hand at agility training. It gives you ask the basics to get started at an affordable price.

Agility in the Bag is great for beginning agility. My dog is 6mos old and is just learning to jump. I found each item to be sturdy and the instructions are easy. I like the fact that I can use them indoors or outdoors and can take them apart(I would suggest keeping each set of pieces separate or marked with different colored markers as to not get them confused) and put them back together easily to take to a park or other area. I like it so much I am purchasing another one for my niece who has a 8 month old GSD. This also will give me a model in order to build a bigger one from pvc pipe as the dog gets bigger. The booklet also has some tips on agility training too and one roll of red tape and one roll of blue to mark height or decorate. Very pleased with this purchase.

We have to frequently disassemble the components to store them and this seems to be a perfect use case for this set. We coded the parts with different stripes to make it easy to get them together. The parts seem good quality and we haven't had any problem with them. If you're going to leave it up full time or have a lot of space maybe you want one like this but it works well for our usage.

When first getting the package I was concerned that I wouldn't know which pieces and parts go to each obstacle, but have no fear - each obstacle was individually wrapped and labeled. The instructions were perfect and it was so easy to get everything assembled. This kit is sturdy, easy to assemble, and a great value for all you get in the set.Definitely A++++++++ rating!
