2017 WIO is the best of the wireless power banks that Amazon offers
I originally purchased the AmiCool Portable QI Wireless Power Bank based on price, but was disappointed with the cheap feel of the hardware and actual performance compared to the misleading description. I returned it for the Vinsic Power Bank Wireless Charger. While that device had the build quality I was expecting, the hardware was low quality, requiring both a specific charger and touching the device without obstruction. I was skeptical about this product, having seen a few reviews about fire and explosion, but quickly discovered they are either user-related or outdated.I purchased the 2017 WIO version from the listing because the difference of $5 to add wireless input and a much nicer appearance seemed well worth the difference. The device has a nice rubberized feel on the front and back, with the plastic accent being smooth and solid. The included pad to hold the device was effective, but not during use. A single round area cause the device to tilt when typing a text or clicking the toward the edges of the screen. The simple solution was cutting the circle in half, using one for the top and the other for the bottom. This was later replaced with low-profile velcro strips, which do not create a significant gap or require washing to maintain a solid hold. The port to charge the device did not feel secure when using a Samsung fast-charging cable, even though it was new. If you moved the product during charging, there was a good chance you would lose connection and hear any attached devices reconnect. There was little "click" when inserting the Samsung charger cable, but others have had better results. Using an Nvidia Shield cable provided a snug fit. Nearly all portable chargers have had better results using an Nvidia Shield charger and cable, from fit to actual charging compatibility. The charge is not a fast charge (as stated), but is on the higher end of standard charging. The wireless input is no different. This device fully supports enough space between the device and charger to support both the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro case and the holster (with clip removed). This will not provide an efficient charge, but is possible. This is only useful when faced with extremely thick cases. The LED is a novelty and extremely powerful, but not necessarily a requirement. It does not interfere with easy use of charging functions. Enabling the device only requires a single press of the button, but the button is placed effectively to avoid accidental use. Holding down on the button will turn the device off. With the placement and quality of the button, there is no need to change this design.Overall, this is the best of the wireless power banks that Amazon offers. I would recommend this as a first choice to others. Many of the past reviews are also about past products, so they should be archived or disregarded as irrelevant. MobilePal has definitely taken them into consideration and improved the product. I am glad I took the risk and hope this review helps others to see that there is really no risk at all.

Best battery bank I've ever used, hands down.
I've had countless battery packs, most with a standard USB type A output, and a micro USB input, some kind of battery level indicator, you get the idea. I wish I had this one all along. Now that Apple has seen the light and added Qi charging to their devices, there's really no reason to have to plug in a phone for power. Worrying about proprietary cables(looking at you, Apple Lightning connector) that are prone to breakage and loss, I wanted a power brick that I didn't have to plug my phone into, and could simply set it on top of and forget. I carry an Apple for personal, and Samsung for work, this device can charge both up twice before needing to be refilled itself. This device beats all the rest in that you can flip it over and charge it up from another qi charger when it gets low. Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? The only thing that could make it better is if the qi transmitter was always on(so you didn't have to push the button on the side), and if the qi receiver was on the other side, so that you could stack this and simultaneously charge your phone and the battery bank. If that device already exists then shut up and take my money.Bonus points for this being able to charge from micro USB and Lightning; with either cable at hand, I can charge either type of phone. It really is the Swiss army knife of battery chargers!

Almost all functions work- pack does not receive wiresless charging
The media could not be loaded. Maybe I got a defective unit..User manual says wiresless charging led should light up blue with fuel gauge leds. My packs led blinks blue, and the battery fuel gauge does not come on. MobilePal was nice enough to answer my questions promptly, and I appreciate quick customer service. I’m using a 1.5a output qi wpc charging pad and phone case/reciver for a year or so from Antye. The receiver and case came in a package, with the qi standard. They have been working together for quite some time, but I have not tried to charge anything else with Anyte's qi pad, besides this product from MobilePal. The receiver/phone case works with this pack (wireless phone charing), but the qi pad does not charge the pack. I will update my review as I test it on other qi certified charging pads. I don't know whether its the pad that is not meet the qi standard or this pack i do not know yet.The pack does output wirelessly with the led green, charges at a fast rate (don't know about 2A, haven't tested), does pass through charging, and the flashlight works. The capacity seems to be ok, I will update as a see any issues. So far GREAT PRODUCT!

I loved this device and bought 5 more for gifts but ...
I loved this device and bought 5 more for gifts but since have been very disappointed by a problem I am having. When my phone (Samsung Note V)gets to 20% charge or less the mobilpad drains the phone battery very quickly and never charges it. I have to unplug mini USB from mobilpad and charge it the old fashioned way. Don't know if this happens when mobilpad not plugged in operating on battery mode, I will update to see if this also occurs in battery mode.If you unplug the device from the wall and charge wireless it works fine. The problem looks like the device is charging itself from the phone battery. (reverse of what it should do) Customer service has asked me to return for replacement and will give 2 stars for now. Testing the other 5 I bought for gifts before I give them. Lots of time lost on $40 gift. Will update with results after I test the other five units.
