Q: Can i print on these using my canon pixma mx922 inkjet printer? they would have to curl over the roller. thank you.

These are high quality postcards and not flimsy, so I don't know if they would curl easily over the roller. My guess would be "no". Sorry I'm not more helpful.

Q: If the back is coated as well, how are you supposed to write on them to send them, without the ink smearing?

So far I have used a ball point pen to write on the backs of my cards. I didn't have any problems with it smearing using a ball point pen. I imagine that felt-tipped pens or markers might potentially give you some problems with smearing, but I haven't tried any yet.
