I would not carry by the handles if the potty is full.

Is this waterproof? I want to have a way to keep my porta potty covered in my van, in case it leaks. Thanks!

Doubt your Thetford Porta Potti will leak unless you don't use it properly. Like not emptying often. Although I don't think the carrying bag is waterproof it is water resistant and would handle small spills
