Great urban bicycle helmet.
I feel safe wearing this helmet in the streets of Chicago with many aggressive drivers.

So cool! Camera… Lights… What's not to like?
This is a very cool bike and scooter helmet. Just like having a dash cam in a car… This one has a camera on the front as well. Fairly easy to operate. Comes in handy for sightseeing as well as emergencies. I also really like that there is a light on the front as well is the back. The helmet itself is fairly lightweight. You can even connect it to your phone via Bluetooth.Made in China.

Nice helmet
With the visor on, too close to nose and glasses (if you wear them)

A Good First Start to this Type of Helmet Market
I am quite surprised this smart helmet idea hasn't taken off yet, or perhaps it has, and is just coming to America. With the prolonged push of a healthier lifestyle and encouragement of more bike-riding since the 1990s, an evolution of the bike/sports helmet should have came earlier. For me personally, I got this because I will be in Southeast Asia for most of the rest of this year, where the primary mode of transportation is the motorbike, so this will be especially useful for me. I will update this review once I am there and able to test this more extensively. Here is what I have taken from my experiences so far:1) The helmet is thick and sturdy. It's not too heavy, but I can understand it could be for some other people. It has good size and heft.2) The visor attaches magnetically to the helmet via three magnets. It snaps on quickly, but it can also be detached easily. For normal bicycling this should be fine, but for faster vehicles and speeds - I will have to further test this on a motorbike. However, I am almost 100% certain that in the event of a crash/fall, it will not stay attached, especially if the helmet hits the ground. Initially, I was going to take a star off for this, but the more I thought about this, I think it COULD be good for safety, in that it would not shatter in your eyes, but instead it would pop off the visor.3) The features are multiple and are all pretty cool, albeit with some small caveats.A) First and foremost is the video and photo recording capabilities, which was the main reason why I chose to review this helmet and made me think existentially why such a helmet didn't exist already in the first place. I mean we all see youtube videos of people strapping on a GoPro to their helmets from years and years ago, but I have only heard of this type of helmet from last week. Albeit, that one small caveat is that the image quality is nowhere near the GoPro's, in the end I didn't take off a star solely for that reason is because this helmet costs less than $200, while the GoPro alone is at least $300. I'm pretty sure you can find a helmet out there with better recording quality if you don't mind spending more than $400 for it. For what it's worth, if you're just using this for visual evidence of an accident, or something to protect yourself with, it does its job. I would say the quality is even lower than 1080p, but that's why my title state that it's a good start. After a while when these types of helmets are more commonplace, the comptetition and improvements in technology will surely drive the prices down, or at the same prices with better quality.B) The Bluetooth audio is surprisingly quite good, almost immersive even. I think it's because it's made for being used outdoors, so they had to pump up the gain of the speakers, and in doing so it's surprisingly loud and clear. I tested this inside my house, so it was extra startling. Overall, a great feature, especially for long slow drives and you want to use the feature to listen to music. Awesome!C) The other part of the Bluetooth equation is the microphone, so you can use your phone as well. Solid.D) The signal lights are huge and bright, very easy to recognize even in direct sunlight. It comes with a controller that attaches to your bike handlebar so you can make a left or right signal, or flash both for emergencies. The helmet itself also has some sort of gyrometer which can detect sudden erratic movements like in the event of a crash or fall and both lights will flash on automatically. Superb.4) So all this would mean an easy five star rating for me. Except that it met the wrong reviewer, in that I have such a big and wide noggin. The helmet has an excellent ring adjustment mechanism to tighten or expand to best fit the size of your head. The makers do an excellent job of leaving a lot of depth, in case you have a hose shaped head or something in the length department, but they forgot there are also people like me who has a wide, fat head, and alas the helmet only goes out so much width-wise. I still squish myself into it, but it is not comfortable, so I can only use this for quick trips to the supermarket or cafe in Asia. Shame. :(

Good helmet, terrible camera
I really like the overall design and quality of this helmet, it has safety features as well as the number one safety feature of protecting your head. That being said, the additional features other than it being a helmet are pretty mediocre at best. The camera quality is extremely bad, it's blurry, grainy, has terrible exposure and just an overall bad experience. The Bluetooth quality is also pretty bad, the speakers are OK for having some music or phone calls, but nothing to write home about. The Bluetooth microphone on the other hand is very bad at picking up my voice, the person on the other line couldn't even hear me. Turn signals and flasher lights, or a nice touch and work well. That being said, it will be much better to buy a regular helmet, some earbuds, and may be a cheap action camera to get an overall better experience.

Small Size, Insufficient Video Quality With Narrow Angle
My head size is around 59 and so usually a 60 fits easily, but this helmet which is supposed to fit for up to 61.5 is too small for my head and gave me a headache from the first minute. Also the video quality is very low. It is technically a 1080p, but probably interpolated because it's quite blurred and has low dynamic range, while the colors are OK. Not many details to see in the video and pictures. A screenshot of a video from outside is attached. There is also absolutely no stabilization in the video and so it's very shaky. This is far away from high quality and the field of view is not 120 degrees, but less than 80 degrees as you can see on the image with the box.

Impressive - Has Everything I want in a Helmet!
I am very impressed with this Ironsimith Smart Helmet. I love the Tech, Comfort, and Safety Features! It has a 1080p camera embedded on the front of the helmet. You also insert the SD card in the helmet. The video quality is decent for sure and is so easy to use. The camera will continue to tape over the footage, so bring additional SD cards with you if you record a lot. The helmet is lightweight and has all the safety features too - triple layer design, the front visor connects magnetically - easy to put on and take off, then there are LED lights on the back of the helmet - to signal turning, braking or SOS strobe. The inbuilt battery charges via USB. Then the helmet also has inbuilt speakers and a mic and connects via Bluetooth 5.0 so I am able to take calls, listen to music or GPS. The helmet is very comfortable to wear and fits my head fine. Overall very impressed, excellent quality and Tech!
