This thing will turn your regular old stale burnt grounds brewing Nespresso into a marvelous espresso machine.It's all in you pack it though... here's how to do it right:1) Fill it with fine to extra fine grounds (this is where you can experiment)2) Tamp down the grounds with a regular capsule.. don't go crazy just do it with a little bit of force and give it a turn3) Fill it and leave about 1mm space4) Screw it shut tight, make sure your O-ring is installed to seal it up.. and the green silicone on the lid to give the Capsule friction in the machine so it doesn't fall down too easily5) Enjoy your perfect espresso with crema... and wonder how you ever drank pre ground burnt garbage premade capsules

This is not what I thought it would be :( it’s so small and the coffee you put in has to be super fine and compact! The capsules are totally different and the coffee comes out much stronger... bummer cuz I thought I could save some money

I loved it. It saves me so much money. I just need to make sure not to over-pack it.

It’s not work, I returned!

The notion of healthy and durability of the item made it very desirable to purchase. I purchased it on eBay. First of all, had hard time to open it. I thought it was pop up lid. It was screw open type lid. In the process of opening and closing the top, I realized three of my fingertips were bleeding. Very sharp lid! The coffee came out brownish without crema. I asked my husband to make one single puncture through the top lid. Brewed the coffee: Successful with little crema!The flavor of the coffee(same coffee beans I use with different methods of brewing) was mediocre. I would have kept it if it was safe to use, but it was cutting through my fingertips(very dangerous!). I threw it away in the trash can without second thoughts!

I tried different coffees and it didn't work either the water goes through and the coffee looks like water either the water doesn't go through. I don't recommand this item. I wanted to save money and i was fed up about all the capsules that i was using with nespresso but buying this one didn't save any money.

Good...only when it works. Gave it good try for a few weeks but got frustrated and stopped using it. Product itself is of good stainless steel and accompanying tools are useful. The capsule worked for about 5 times and that was the end of its working life. I followed instructions and brushed the filter but still didn't work. A 5 minute nespresso making exercise turned into 15 minutes of no coffee at the end. Very disappointed. Was hoping to go the environmental way with this. Feel like my 40$ CAD could have been better spent on actual Nespresso capsules.
