Q: Is there a way to replace the battery? Mine works as long as it's plugged in, but not without external power

Answer - The lock has a port that you have to plug into and re-charge the battery about 1 time a month. The company says the battery will last longer than that, but not really. Another note: I have a problem with the locks having moisture on them and not working, (dew or rain). i have to dry them and dry my finger for them to work and often they still don't. We keep our lock in a plastic container when we aren't using it. Hope this is helpful

It would blink red for 5 seconds whenever the fingerpad is touched the next time when the battery becomes low, and it would still have around 50 openings(or 10days) before it needs to be recharged.

Q: If I bought two, could the backup keys be the same for both?
