Holy Kakow Organic Chocolate Syrup - Organic Chocolate Sauce, Organic, Add to Mochas, Waffles, & Ice Cream, Made with Colombian Sugar, Real Food Ingredients, Specific Flavor - 64oz

I wanted something more, organic. The major chocolate company has an “organic” chocolate syrup but not sure what loophole of “organic” they are jumping through. For example, fresh milk, cold pasteurized from the dairy farm will last in the fridge a little over a week before it goes sour. So called “organic” milk from the grocery store can sit in the fridge for a month.So, to the chocolate syrup. The taste is outstanding, especially if you have a hankering for a glass of chocolate milk. Have not had it on ice cream but I have drizzled it onto my finger for a taste and imagine it would pair well with some vanilla bean ice cream. The taste is, hard for me to describe but it’s just darn good! Especially when compared to the big brands.My only downfall, I use a lot of chocolate for that glass of milk and the bottle does not last long. Compared to the major chocolate brands organic syrup this is a bit more pricey and it’s obviously smaller. I do feel the quality is there though and I believe that this syrup is, organic.I keep this around to use when needed but find it’s better to get the 1/2 gallon of chocolate milk from the dairy farm is more economically feasible.

I usually not writing reviews but that's is bad product. No even 1 month old and all mold. My husband got sick due this mold. I opened product on March 30th 2025 and today I have to write to Amazon for refund.

Rich and tasty from the bottle. I think it would excel on ice cream. Not that impressed with it in a hot drink. It takes a lot for the taste to come through. Small bottle for the money.

My mistake. I didn't refrigerate...!After purchasing this back in November 2022, I've enjoyed the organic chocolate with my morning mochas. As I've got about an inch left, I began looking to reorder. While looking over the reviews, some reviews cited mold, across this and other brands, in their larger mocha containers with pumps.My plastic pump came in a sealed plastic wrapper… I was careful not to let the pump 'touch anything' as I first put it in the bottle, when I first received it. (I'm certain I started No contamination.)After reading another brand's review, someone introduced to me the idea, that their large bottle syrup NEEDS TO BE REFRIGERATED. Yes. I missed that on this brand. Prompted by these reviews, today, In removing the sterile pump, I looked at the shaft, and was disturbed to see what I hopefully wasn't ingesting... I am expecting that as the tip of the shaft had never been removed, it was pumping uncontaminated chocolate into my drinks.In any case I thought I would ENCOURAGE everyone, if you're using these large bottled syrup products… Which I got specifically because it didn't have "preservatives", I wanted organic... Not leave these simply on the counter next to the sink, which I did. In taking this picture… I realized this was intended to go into the fridge each night for proper protection.I'll have to clear out a space in the refrigerator to put this, which may make it very thick, if I want to keep using this large chocolate syrup for my mochas. BTW, the pump on the counter was very sturdy and consistent. I'm concerned that the syrup thickness in my fridge may give the pump a challenge, so I'll see what happensMay I suggest that all brands put a LARGER 'REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING' Notice on the syrup bottle. (My fault. I didn't look.)AND - I'd rather refrigerate than have preservatives!I hope this is helpful.

This makes the best hot chocolate! It tastes like a hot chocolate from a local coffee shop. I want to try the original and wish it was available in the smaller size as I wouldn't want to be stuck with 64 oz if I didn't like it as much as the agave style.

While I really like the product, unfortunately it came damaged. There was a hole on the bottom right of one of the bottles and the syrup was oozing out. It says this is not returnable, but I am hoping to at least get my money back as I will not use an opened bottle.
