Would recommend
Must have for postpartum and c section. I was really questioning this due to the cost but so glad I got it. I haven’t heated the packs but the ice is really soothing and not that cold. The material is soft and comfortable.

Helpful!
I wish it would have fit a little more snug! But served its purpose!

Seatbelt guard
I don't even use the hot/cold feature and I still give this 5 stars. I'm sure the hot/cold is great too. It is a fantastic seatbelt guard when you have had a c section.

C-Section Relief
After my C-Section, I felt like I needed additional support while I was healing in order to be able to do basic light-duty things around the house without extra pain (especially back pain, since it felt like my back muscles were trying to compensate for a weaker abdomen). This made picking up the baby, getting up wash bottles, and shuffling around the house doable and helped empower me to (slowly, gently) get back to day-to-day life again. The fact that I could put the cold packs on the front or back (or both!) was great when I needed some extra TLC. Since this was a helpful product for me, I sent one to my sister-in-law as soon as I heard she was having an unexpected C-section after a difficult induction. If I have another baby, I'll definitely get another. The only reason that this isn't five stars is that I wish it had been a little bit bigger to cover a larger area.

Very convenient
Second time c section mama here and I honestly didn’t know about this my first time around, it would’ve been SO convenient because baby boy would just stomp and mash all over me. But I didn’t really use it all that much, it’s very easy to use, and extremely adjustable so it can be as loose or tight as you want/need. It can be used hot or cold. Even though I didn’t really use it, I definitely will be keeping it for period cramp relief in the future.I have a pretty high pain tolerance so I didn’t really need it more than twice, I really only used it up until my stitches got removed. So for about 1-2 weeks. So definitely consider this if you think you won’t need it: it’s one of those things that isn’t a NEED, But is nice to have

Skip this
This was not what I thought it would be. The belt doesn’t get tight enough to feel the warmth or cool. And the packs don’t get very warm. I hate that I missed the return window.

Not comfortable at all
After my c section I really needed something to help relieve the pressure in my lower stomach and this did nothing for me. It’s an awkward fit and if you try sitting in this it fits awkwardly on your back. The only thing that was useful was the ice packs.. but you can do that without spending $40.
