URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG Samsung Galaxy S8 [5.8-inch Screen] Monarch Feather-Light Rugged [Graphite] Military Drop Tested Phone Case

Bought this and combined it with the stagg invisible shield glass screen protector and have been using the 2 together for about a month now and today I dropped my phone the same place I dropped my last one and demolished the old phones screen but today this cover and the stagg screen protector did their jobs and saved my phone!! Stagg screen protector broke but they have a lifetime warranty so i get another screen protector free. Not any damage at all to this phone case and the raised area on this case is a bit higher then any other cases I have tried for this phone. It has been put to the test & believe me I have been hard on phones and always need full protection. I had my old s7 survive my motorcycle accident and it flew out of my pocket as I flew off the bike. So that will tell you something! trust my review and trust your phone in this case!!

After 9 months, I am very satisfied with this phone case. It has a metal frame inside, so it is very strong & sturdy. It doesn't slip out of my hand. So far I have only dropped it on a hard floor once, from 2 feet, and the case protected it. It prevents those annoying accidental swipes that bring up that stupid bixby app. It also prevents accidentally pressing the buttons.My only complaint is that the buttons are hard to find. They don’t stick out enough to feel them easily. This is a problem, especially when I have the phone in my dash mount in the car, I always struggle to find the buttons. I feel it is dangerously distracting when driving.

Works and fits well for Samsung S8. DOES work with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector. The buttons are perfect. I saw one review complaining about the buttons being able too be pressed to easily. I have not found this to be true at all. If anything, the buttons of the phone are slightly harder to press with this case, not easier. This case is great because it is slim enough to fit with most outer clip belt cases, but thick enough to offer excellent protection. Definitely not as bulky as an otter box, but with as good or better protection. For those wondering, it does NOT have a slot for the sim card slot; you have to take the case off (or cut a hole in it, if that's what you want to do). Earphone jack works and fits great, along with all other cable connections. Good case. Outrageous price, but hey, it's what I wanted.

The case is actually pretty tough! I didn't think much about the reviews that said they dropped it because it was slippery...well I noticed that I had dropped it quite a few times and yes, it was very slippery. Even though my phone had taken some tumbles it survived, until this last time!!! It hit the blacktop just right and cracked the screen to the point that I can't even use the phone. The case wasn't damaged at all!...so I guess it did it's job...sorta!!!??? I think it is a design flaw that the case should have covered the phone over the edges a bit more. I just purchased this in January of this year,4 months ago ....so $30 for the hassle of no phone for 3 days and an additional $30 to replace the screen (hopefully that's all it is!!!?)...I will be in the market for a new case now and I guarantee you it will NOT be a UAG!!!

Using this case with the Whitestone glass screen protector. As the many reviews state, it's a perfect fit. Also the metallic parts of the case works with magnetic car holders (although not as strong as attaching the metal plate). And of course because I didn't have to use the metal plate for the car mount, I can still use the wireless charger! Great workaround for anyone using magnetic holders and wireless charing pads. Be warned, your phone may come off the magnetic holder if you hit a speed bump or something.Update: this morning the phone fell right off the magnetic mount. Not the fault of the case obviously... Just an FYI. Metal in the case is not really strong enough.

Excellent product. It was delivered on time and even though it is well cushioned it still feels so slim and small in my hand and easily slips in and out of my pocket. It has these amazing non-slip grips in the right places and is so easy to hold that my one and a half year old granddaughter also has no problems holding it to look at her videos. Absolutely love it. I used to only use Otter Box Defender cases before on all my phones, but it tended to be big and bulky. This UAG case is very small and slim and easy to carry around and use and has Mil drop specs too. Can't beat that.

I'm not even sure how, but it broke dead center on the back of my phone from some impact that I didn't notice. I only found out because I saw some cracks all the way up at the fingerprint sensor. Half of this I blame on samsung for putting a pointless amount of glass on the phone, but also this seems like the kind of breakage that shouldn't really be possible with this case. I'm guessing the random grooves on the back allowed the corner of something to get too close to the back of my phone

Great investment for an phone. Protected my phone after several falls. I am used to a more rugged looking phone case on my phones but have used UAG protectors for two teenage boys iPhones and no cracked glasses yet after a year (though the plastic bumper on one has pulled apart after 1 year (warranty period) but I still bought another to replace that specific UAG product). This protector has a longer warranty so will see how long it lasts. Also, the edge function of the Samsung 8 works great with this case.
