I was a L'Oréal girl until L'Oréal stopped making permanent hair colour. They call it permanent, but it washes out. It didn't used to do that. Black never washed out - ever. They also stopped putting expiration dates in the boxes. I started using this. It washes out, but it takes a lot longer, so my colour stays fresher longer. If you're like me and don't trust no one with your hairs this is the best brand to do your own. I've been using it a few years now. Nice colour and better staying power. It's not harsh on the scalp or hair.

Love Schwarzkopf Pearl Blonde 12 hair color, covers my Gray better than any other product I have tried before, when I pull the color through the Grey areas first and let sit as long as possible. Love this product and the Blonde color, no irritation or fumes, and the hair feels great afterwards. Tried the Natural Blonde color from the Ultime Collection, which have a 9.5 lift but my hair turned a much darker reddish tone color instead of Natural blonde, horrible. Then used the 12 lift again to restore my blonde, then used some Purple Shampoo to try and remove a bit of the red and it did lighten a little, but it has to sit in the hair for at least 5 min, to do any good. Called Co. to find out what if anything can be done, besides going to a Salon and spend a fortune to try and cover up the "Brass", as I have done before! They suggested I use their lightener. I did not use the lightener yet, because I decided to use the Pearl Blonde using it all over in the last 5 minutes, I did that twice and it restored my blonde color except my hair got pretty dry from doing it. I have been using this color/product for several years now, and is the best I ever tried. No itching, no burning, use color care shampoo to maintain color and leaves hair soft and the best condition after coloring. I am royally pissed that the Company stopped making this color or another similar high lift blonde, other than Ash, which turns my hair Green. The Ultime light natural blonde color is a joke, made my hair red instead of blonde, 9.5 lift is just not enough, I used to get better results from Wella Natural Blonde using 30 developer.I just tried the new Schwarzkopf high lift Natural Blonde color 11.0 and it turned out OK, definitively got blonde alright, using the Purple conditioner that comes with it and am sure after using Color protect shampoos it will "settle" even more, but I am a senior and it makes my grey stand out even more, and feel it makes me look "older" for some reason, and it sure didn't cover any grey at all, although I applied there first. Why on Earth could the Company not just keep the Pearl Blonde which many people love?? I will keep searching for another "Pearl" color by other makers, although I truly love the Schwarzkopf Keratin line the best!

I really wanted to love this, but it just didn't do it for me. I previously bleached the underside of my hair and was over it, so I used this to dye my whole head. Not even four months later, people say my hair looks dark brown. Definitely not the rich black I hoping for. Some of the bleached pieces even look light brown.

My favorite box dye. Color is on point. Easy to use. Last a good while. This is like my 10th time, definitely my go to.
