The most bang for your dollar
This printer is a great value for $240. The print size is almost double other printers at the price so you can print more diverse things. It is easy to build thanks to the assembly videos on YouTube and the helpful owners community. The same community has designed many upgrades to make use of the printers modular design that uses easy to find standard parts. Before purchasing this printer I used monoprice and lulzbot taz printers. The print quality of the 3 are undecernable by the naked eye after proper calibration. Also it is worth noting since this printer is new as of 2017, upgrades and new version are still coming out. There are rumors of a heated bed upgrade and an all metal version going around. At the end, a the micromake c1 is a great starter printer, it is comparable to printers with triple the price tag and has a large print bed. If you don't mind the ~15 hour assembly time I can't recommend this printer enough
