I have been a fan of the L’Oréal professional range for a few months now since my hairdresser introduced me to it, however, I hadn’t tried the products for curly and coily hair which is what I have (I’d been using the vitamino colour one). I’ve been using this, alongside other products in the range, for a couple of months now and I love it. I never expected it not to be to be honest but it’s great for curly hair. I’ve found my curls are less frizzy and softer. At £17.34 at the time of writing this may seem expensive but I can’t stress enough how amazing this product and the professional range in general, is. It’s a game changer for me and my hair has never felt or looked so healthy! A little also goes a long way so don’t let the price put you off.

Tried out by my wife: she had curly hair when she was younger, but the curls have vanished, leaving only a slight wave. However, as her hair is quite dry and unmanageable at times, she felt this was worth a go. She was impressed with it:“I used this a few days ago, and my hair is still soft and nourished. I had started to use a shampoo bar, but it left my hair on the dry and flyaway side, so this mask has come in really handy. It does not have an overpowering perfume to it, just a reassuringly muted scent that actually smells expensive, slightly musky but in a really good way.There is plenty in the tub. It is easy to use and simple to wash out.Not just for controlling curls - it also works for older, straighter and more manageable hair.Expensive, but, as they say, you're worth it.”

I have couple more products from this range that I really liked so it was a bit disappointing trying this hair mask as it does not work as well as the other products.The mask comes in a 250 ml jar, pretty standard for hair masks. The consistency is very thick and the scent is really pleasant. The mask doesn’t distribute easy throughout the hair, hence I find that I need to use a bit more than I would with different masks. As it’s a mask, you should leave it for at least 15 minutes and then rinse out. The current price is £22.49.I didn’t really feel that much difference in all fairness. It didn’t do a lot in terms of moisturising and I feel like my hair felt pretty weighted down as well. I have tried this mask good few times just to see if this effect will improve but unfortunately this did not happen. My hair was soft afterwards but I can achieve that with any other hair mask.Overall it’s a pass for me. I just did not experience any promised effect and considering the price, that’s a big disappointment. I wouldn’t personally repurchase the product, but it might work better for someone with more curly hair than me 👎🏻.

The consistency is very light and simple to apply. It sinks through my waves instantly and rinses away so easily without leaving any buildup at the scalp or between hair strands.My hair felt really smooth and soft after the first use. A bit easier to brush through, and it didn't get as frizzy as it normally would after a hair wash. After about three weeks of use, my hair looks and feels considerably healthier. The waves are slightly more prominent and breakage has decreased a lot. I imagine this would also be a great option for those with colour-treated curls suffering from damaged ends and dullness.An excellent treatment. It hasn't made my hair look flat or grease up any faster than it usually does. Would happily recommend!

This is a thick and creamy hair mask, which can be used to comb in to wet hair, leave for a while then rinse, or use a small amount on dry hair, to give hair a bit of a boost.I tend to have frizzy hair and this mask has been really good for my hair, as it has helped to make my hair feel smother and more curl defined, rather than frizzy.I use it on wet hair, then rinse out, but have occasionally used a little rubbed onto my hands then scrunched into my hair when it is feeling a bit straw like and lacking definition.At time of review however, it is very expensive at just under £22.

I have naturally wavy hair that used to be way more curly. It often feels dry and frizzy.Not only have I noticed a difference with this and the rest of this line of hair products but family and friends have also commented on how curly my hair is now and how much healthier it looks.This particular product is great because it doesn't weigh your hair down and doesn't make it feel dirty. It leaves the hair feeling soft and gives it that boost of life it needs.It is more expensive at around £23 than I would usually spend on hair products but because I like it that much I would get it again.
