My APC 1500 BackUPS arrived some months ago, and I didn't take it out of the box until recently. The batteries were dead as a door nail, and they wouldn't take a charge. The unit was long past the return date, and I was stuck. I sent for the replacement battery, and within a half hour of opening the pkg, my Back UPS was running as it should have the first time. It was great. The moral of the story, at least try out the part when it arrives in the mail to test whether it's dead so you can return it. If you can't manage that with a new UPS, there are always replacement batteries--and this brand was effortless and performed perfectly. Oh, I have numerous Back UPS and have replaced batteries on all of them at one time or another. No problems so far.

Stayed charged on shelf as a durable backup replacement battery cartridge. when my APC Battery Back-ups Pro needed a battery replaced it was a simple remove and replace. The cartridge slid into place and the connectors matched.for easy installation. The colored decals for top and direction to slide into place would allow anyone to remove and replace the battery. intentional in design.

Two of my APC Backup UPS 1500 units needed replacement batteries after 4 years of use. Knowing that this was a non-returnable item I only ordered one replacement to make sure these replacement batteries fit and worked properly. I was very happy to find the replacement battery was well packaged, fit flawlessly in my UPS and worked as well as the original batteries did when they were new. After thoroughly testing that my UPS worked like it should, I went ahead an ordered another replacement battery pack for my second APC Backup. Again I found that I was sent a well packaged replacement battery that fit just as well as the original and worked like it should. Order this replacement with confidence.

Don't bother ordering from this company. My battery was DOA, and I just tried to return it through Amazon, thinking it would be easy. Amazon puts me through hoops and says I need to contact the seller. Found a link to the site and was taken to the sales form. I filled it out and then saw there was a return link in the top right. I clicked on it, and it says the usual RMA info, but it says they will send you a label for the RMA, but shipping is on the customer. A UPS battery is not cheap to ship, part of the reason for having Prime, so I don't have to deal with expensive shipping on heavy items. Well, don't bother buying a battery from UPC, if it is dead, it is gonna cost you a bunch to replace THEIR defective out of the box product.

Great fix with a new battery, didn't have to buy a whole new backup. Replacing battery did the trick!
