We purchased one in 2020 for a small bathroom. I had had a space heater in there previously but wanted something safer that took up less space. This heater ran pretty much non-stop during the fall/winter months of 2021 and 2022 (and on chilly summer nights as well). Just recently the toggle on/off switch stopped working. My husband wrote Econo-home to see if they could send us a replacement switch. Customer service person Ella said that if it was in warranty (3 years) she would send us a new one instead. We sent her the invoice and within a few days we had a new heater. Can't beat that for customer service! We like these so much that we purchased two more for the office and bedroom. They are energy efficient, and if you want a thermostat, you can purchase that separately. We just use the on/off toggle switch. They are 250 Watts, so don't throw off a blasting heat, but more gradually warm the space. Do they emit an odor when they are first used? Yes, but over time and depending upon use, this dissipates. If you have sensitivities to smells, you may want to use a different type of heater instead. However, we love these wall-mounted panels - they are great to supplement a small space in a safer manner than using a typical space heater. Heat is gradual, and works best when on for the better part of the day. It's not a replacement for your heating system, but great to take the chill off. We love them!

I bought one of these with outlet thermostats for each room in my small home on the Central Coast of California two years ago. They saved me from having to consider a whole house forced air option with a price tag of $20k. The size and efficiency is what was most appealing initially, but their efficacy has been game changing for individual room heating and whole-house comfort. I have one particularly cold bedroom, so having a larger one in there with a thermostat is amazing. It’s a guest room, so I can close that bedroom door when not in use. I use a larger one to heat the living room and kitchen. While the house does have 3” of rigid insulation in the roof, that improvement plus these heaters get me comfortably through the coldest part of the winter. I should mention it was built in 1934. Our temps only sometimes get down to freezing. That said, I just last night brought the largest heating panel into my 650sqft guest house with vaulted ceilings to see if it could keep up. It anlso has 3” of rigid insulation in the roof. Outside temps got down to 45, but the inside held at 65 with just one large panel. I’m impressed!Some people have mentioned the wall temp being affected, and I agree. It gets warm, but it’s been harmless. The panel gets warm but you can touch it. I haven’t hung these but simply lean these against the wall with the metallic paper supplied behind it. The on/off switch in the back keeps it from touching the wall by about an inch.In short, I couldn’t be happier with these heaters. They have been game changers for my use.

I got this to heat a 140sq ft room without expectations of a dramatic level of heat, the plate gets warm so I know it functions. All of the instructions for setting up were followed to the letter. Granted the room is 40 sq feet larger than the product claims to be effective but after three hours a thermometer set only FOUR feet away did not go up by so much as one degree tells me that it won't even heat a small closet.

It keeps the chill off the room, which is what we wanted. It's quiet and safe for the little ones.Based on reviews, I ran it in the garage for several days to burn off the chemical smell. That clearly wasn't enough. The smell generally isn't bad, but 20 months after install and several months since the last use and I still get the chemical smell when I walk in the room. I hope I'm not poisoning my family.

This is an attractive unit and easy to install if you have a receptacle in the right place. I installed in a small bathroom and it does take 6-8 hours to warm it up though we do keep our house thermostat set low and have two windows in that bathroom. Makes showering much more comfortable.

No genera calor. 24 horas prendido y no subió la temperatura de una habitación pequeña.

Después de poco más de 2 meses de uso le salieron estas grietas, y así da desconfianza usarlo. El proveedor no contesta, Amazon tampoco ayuda mucho. No lo compren, el precio es muy alto para tan poca calidad y nula atención post venta.
