I ordered an 8 foot handrail and it Was FedEx Shipped from Florida to Washington state in two Days. It came in an excellent proprietary package with all items secured and zero damage to the contents. The aluminum rail, brackets, and accompanying screws are top quality, and easy to install. The components are machined real well and everything fits easily, just as advertised. I am 100% disabled and wheelchair bound, and the handrail will help me in the pantry, reaching for items on the counter or in the cabinets. Safety at its best!Update: Finished installing the handrail and it was a breeze, especially with the snap-on brackets. Great engineering and forethought for customer DIY installation. I am 76 years old and wheelchair bound but was able to install the handrail myself because everything fit perfectly; no modifications needed! I initially ordered the rounded ends for the railing, but it made it more difficult to clean the countertop after cooking or food preparation. So I contacted the seller, Micaela, and received flat end caps in two days, which allowed me to finish my safety project. What great, responsive customer service! I highly recommend Promenaid for quality products. Best bang for the buck when you consider time loss and medical costs from a fall, regardless of user’s age :)

Very easy to install. I ordered a slightly longer size and cut it to size. Looks fantastic. Very sturdy and I love that the mounts pivot so you can get them to go straight up and down. I saw some photos where people did it wrong. You can go to youtube and the company has instructions video. But honestly its very self explanatory. 5 Stars.

If you are looking for a heavy-duty exterior handrail then this is the one for you. I purchased two 8-foot lengths for my front entrance. I did have to cut one down approximately a foot to mirror our steps, but that wasn't an issue. After three months I've found the quality and paint color holding up well. Somewhat more expensive than other metal types of rails, but I found the added expense well worth it.

Firstly, customer service was readily available (even late and on weekends) and very supportive with technical advice. Secondly, I had a problem with the rail supports and the adjustment where the supports attach to the rail. More than likely this was my fault but nevertheless two things happened: (1) I got quick and substantial answers detailing the adjustment I needed to make to the supports and (2) I had to remove and reinstall every support to make the adjustment necessary to limit the flexing of the rail. Of note - the attachment that needed to be tightened was unable to be sufficiently tightened on two of the supports because the screw that I was tightening was bottoming out and would not quite go in far enough to get everything snug. With these two supports I drilled and tapped a couple more threads and then everything worked wonderfully. This is a minor fabrication issue that probably has been fixed by now or was in the process of being addressed as the majority of the supports were able to be tightened adequately with no intervention on my part.After changing my order two or three times because I couldn't decide on the returns, PromenAid staff generously sent both end caps and ADA returns with the option to send the ADA returns back for a refund. All I can say is that the pictures don't do them justice - the ADA returns look beautiful and easily are the highlight of the installation.With the longer run, I had to butt two shorter sections together and it works just fine but I wonder if an internal coupling would've made that an easier and more secure process.There was a lot that could go wrong with this order and very little did go wrong. We have a beautiful and sturdy handrail system and it only took a few hours to get it in place. Again, kudos to PromenAid for answering the phone.

Heavy metal, very sturdy, and easy to install. I don't have any problems with this item except I ordered a rail that was too short. A 4ft rail is actually about 43 inches until you add the end caps. You need to measure carefully before you order.

Looked around for a lot of rails, as our stairs did not have one, and for older family and friends it is a necessity. Found this one, a little more expensive than Steel Pipe rails, but looks better, comes with all the handles and end curves to make it safe and very sturdy.One feature is under the bottom of the hand rail slides a PVC strip that when you grab the handle your fingers grab onto the PVC which creates a might better grip than just an aluminum or steel rail would provide.Installation is not tough, watch the videos on their website and that helps alot. once you get the top positioned at the right height, it's easy to level it down the wall for a good fit.

I installed this kit outside to provide safe negotiation of steps from my patio door to the patio which is 3=steps below the door. It went up easily by following the provided instructions and is very attractive. It's exposed to the weather, but I expect it will weather well. The kit arrived in its own box, packed very well and protected against damage. The kit is made up of excellent aluminum materials and the flexible inserted plastic cover that fits in a groove keeps insects out. Excellent material for this small installation and the quality of materials justifies the higher cost of this kit.

I love our new hand rail! We have been in need for safety in getting in and out of our home! We loved it so much we bought a second one for the other side of our steps! It was so easy to install and very affordable and wonderful smooth finish making it comfortable to hold on to. We highly recommend these railings for whatever your need. They are very secure and attractive too!

Solid, well designed, well made hand rail. Well worth the price. Size is good for closing hand around rail for good grip. Able to slide hand along rail as brackets attach underneath.

Great looking and very sturdy. Installation was very straight forward. Would recommend this hand rail to anyone.

All in all pretty easy to put together and feels super solid.I like how the angle of the railing can be customized bc the parts that attach to the wall are adjustable at the railing.Perfect for my needs!

Received next day after ordering , well packaged . Good value for the money. Hard to install if not a Do It Yourself person , but worth the effort. If mounting on brick wall , ensure you buy good Tapcons , since it comes with wood screws .
