how wide are these strips?

Approximately 2" haven't had a chance to use them yet

One person says that it is 2" wide another say's it is 3/4" wide, big difference, which is it?

The unit is approximately 4 and 3/8" from extreme left to extreme right. (This is the axle) The box alone is approximately 4 an 11/16" wide. Hope this helps you.

J'avoue c'est un peut chaud pour préparer le présentoir mais ça c'est pas grave le principal c'est la qualité .Donc comme vous pouvez voir les rouleaux sont bien plein mais surtout chose que personne ne parle encore pourtant important ; se n'est pas du papier c'est bien de la toile de la vraie toile tissée .Ont peut le déchiré à la taille voulue .Je recommande VIVEMENT !
