Fly Free Zone Natural Fly Repellent Dog Collar

My dog's ears were really bad with flies, so we decided to try this out because of all the good reviews. From the moment that we put it on the flies immediately started to disperse. In a few days my dog didn't have any flies. I'm very pleased with this product. The only down side is that when they scratch themselves they will easily rip the collar, but other than that this product is amazing.

It works great for my shepard mix. Only problem is it's velcro so she's already scratch it off herself.I have to add I've used fly off both spray and cream, bronco horse fly repellent, and natural oils and let me say this is the best so far! Negatives are that after a month or so she totally tore it up but it has kept flys away like nothing else. Her ears are so soft which was her problem area. Yes the smell is obnoxiously strong but just take the collar off indoors and it's not so bad.Without a doubt I'm reordering.**Edit** I've reordered and stitched it with a thread and needle. After about 2 collars her ears completely healed and I haven't seen any flies. It's been the best investment.

This smells EXTREMELY strong of menthol, eucalyptus, etc. It wouldn't be an unpleasant scent if it wasn't so overpoweringly strong. Don't make the mistake of putting it on inside!! It keeps flies off our dog's head and keeps his ears from getting bit. The flies will still go on his hind legs. It was effective for about a week.

Extremely strong scent, made my dog puke and gave us headaches. I wiped his fur down after taking it off and he still smelled for two days. I did follow and wipe it first.On a positive note, the bugs stay far away. I ended up leaving it on a table next to us and the bugs stay away.

This is a great product. My German Shepherds were suffering with Fly Strike and this keeps the flies away. One dog is still wearing hers and it is working like a charm. My other dog literally scratched it to pieces. I found the outer part in pieces in the yard and the strap still around her neck. She scratched for days so I think she had a reaction. The smell was potent enough that with one dog being in close proximity​ to the other has helped.

Absolutely terrible. The only positive about it was the nice packaging. When I opened it, I was taken aback by how awful it smelled. My husband, who was in another room, wanted to know if I spelled pine sol or something.The collar was entirely too big and held together by flimsy velcro.Despite the fact that I wiped down the inside of the collar (multiple times), my hands ended up smeared with the ointment. It took several washes for the smell to fade and it irritated my skin. My dog hated the smell and became immediately irritated by the collar when we tried it on. I removed it, but wasn't quick enough to stop him from rubbing it onto his face. We 've had to flush it several times to stop him from squinting. I will never by anything from this brand.

The collar works well. No more flies on our German Shepherd. Have been using it for about 1 month and it continues to keep the flies away. I tried a variety of products, e.g. sprays, creams with limited results in repelling flies, and am satisfied with the results of the collar.There is an odor emanating from the collar that dissipates the longer the collar is worn. However, the odor was not sufficient to deter me from using the collar.

I am basing this review strictly on the smell of this collar. I wish someone had said something about how badly this thing REEKS. I opened the bag it came in and, immediately, the odor gave me a headache and made me nauseous. The collar and the bag it came in are currently out in the garage because the smell literally stunk up the entire house. I might consider putting this on my dog in a couple of days or weeks, but there is no way I will subject her to the collar right now. It's just too potent.
