Exactly what I ordered

This company sells two versions of the ankle brace and they are easily identified by a blue label and a white label. This one is not as good as the one with the white label. The white label version has actual shoe laces that you tie and go up the side of the ankle, with straps that wrap around the bottom of your foot's arch and come back up, then are strapped down by side velcro straps. This one gets heavy on the ankle compared to the other one because it has a super-sized velcro strap that wraps around the ankle and it doesn't get as snug due to the lace part being tied down by velcro, and the straps don't wrap around the bottom part of your foot's arch.

I did extensive research to find a suitable brace and found on-line information on these very limited. I sustained fractured bones in both feet so I needed a brace to provide ankle support to be able to walk. In my opinion the Med Spec braces are superior to most, by far. I have two designs from this company...the ASO speed lacer and the newer ASO EVO speed lacer so I can give a more detailed and accurate comparison.Both provide excellent stabilization. However, the ASO EVO design is slightly different from the ASO. The ASO brace straps are anchored ON the sides of the brace, then wrap across the top of the foot and under the heel, then up the sides to provide support. The ASO EVO are anchored UNDER the heel then come up through reinforced openings in the sides, wrap across the top of the foot and under the heel, then up the sides to provide support. Both worked well on my non-surgically repaired foot and gave excellent support but the ASO EVO created too much pressure on my surgically repaired heel which caused quite a bit of discomfort since the anchor points originate under the heel on this model. The ASO brace did not create this issue. The ASO EVO provides slightly more side support (less deflection) over the ASO due to the redesign but the ASO support is still excellent.Because of the exceptional support ASO EVO provides, I rate this a 5 star even though the ASO was a better choice for my specific condition. In addition, Med Spec customer support is great.The ASO EVO probably works well for most people so I hope this review helps clarify the differences.

I ordered the appropriate size - large - according to the size chart, but the product is too large compared to the same product I already have at home! Big disappointment, I had to buy a new one because the replacement costs from my country are too expensive.

Provides support and stability I was looking for.

Does provide some of the needed support but just doesn't fit in shoes as well.

Works fine.
